Back in October, my employer had issues with their payroll account which resulted in two bounced checks. Despite Park National notifying me of why this happened, after a second check bounced, the bank notified me again. While I was speaking with representatives regularly to solve this problem, this bank saw it fit to overdraw my account by $1,000,000,000 without saying anything to me. Park National isn't a good financial institution, for your own sake you should bank elsewhere.

Horrible bank. I would have done zero stars if I could. This is the second loan we had with them and both times there have been issues. First loan we paid off and drove over an hour to pick up a title. Got there and they gave us someone else's title and then come to find out that there was no title for the trailer we purchased, as for the size of it they don't give titles for them. Now we paid off a loan, however because the last day due date fell on a Sunday they charged us a late fee since they didn't process the payment till Monday!!!!!!!! But the so called late payment happened in June and they just now charged us in August after we paid the loan off a month early in July! Very crappy so called bank.

Josie at the 21st street office is amazing. My card had fraudulent charges in very high amounts and I called in panicking. The customer service line for debit card charges wasn't very helpful and she took her time to have me come in and helped me talk to them and calmed me down. She did her very best to make sure I get reimbursed for these charges. She's great!

Declined for a small auto loan with %60 down payment, and a good credit rating, perfect loan payment history, and solid credit payment history AND a co-signer . Because “I just got a raise in February, and the back office wants to see if I maintain the raise.”Honestly blown away, Insulted and humiliated. Im self employed and since I made more money than I did the previous year, I was declined? For 6k?Looking to move my current loan from park national to another bank. HIGHLY recommend anyone who banks with park to move their funds.

Terrible Customer Experience! Bank at Chase, People's or Huntington. Any bank is better than this!I am opening a new business, hence a new business account. I walked up to teller and stated that I want to open a Business Account. Teller said, we'll be with you in a minute. I sat on a chair situated next to table where customers filled out documents like deposit slips, withdrawals, etc. so while seated there, 8 to 10 people filled out forms which made it awkward for me as I looked up to them and they looked down at me sitting there. 2 or 3 were coughing, 1 coughed loudly. They could not have made this sitting area rhat consisted of 2 chairs on either side of the table mote comfortable: Anyway, I sat there more than 20 minutes. Made eye contact with almost all 6 tellers and a person sitting on the desks outside of counter and none of them followed up with me or the people sitting on desks. Either to let me know they will be with me shortly, apilogized for the wait, or any communications at all. Not even a smile!!!Either they do not know abour customer experience or the simplest basics of hust being nice to people. Maybe because I was not white...I don't know. Just terrible experience!

The drive-thru here is HORRIBLE. So slow and not sure why. Usually I don't go unless there is 0-1 other car in the drive thru because it's that slow. I just left and had to ask for my transaction back. Pulled in with no other cars & the guy said he'll be with me in a moment. Waited 7 minutes. All I had was a cash deposit, form filled out & my ID. Had to pick up my child from school & didn't expect to wait that long with no service. Definitely not the first time. If you have to bank here, go inside.

I wish I could rate them less than 1 star. My wife and I applied for an auto loan with Park national through a small dealership, for a $29,000 vehicle. The dealership was excellent. They couldn't explain or understand why we were denied financing for a vehicle. We make over 90k/year and our credit is over 700. Yet, they denied us immediately. No questions or documentation. Just "no." We were discouraged and a bit confused, but went to a different dealer. I applied for a vehicle without my wife on the application. I was immediately approved with several lenders for a $40,000 vehicle. No questions asked, no arguing, no income verification, no cosigner... And a 5% interest rate. I bought my truck and went home. A few days later I received a letter from park national bank. It stated that we were denied because of "severe delinquencies." That is a complete and total lie. I check my credit report often, and there is not any "severe delinquency" on my report. So why did several creditors approve me for a vehicle loan and park national deny me? Because they engage in unethical business practices and fabricate false information. If you look for them on the BBB website, you will find that they are not a BBB accredited business, which is a huge red flag. It's a shame, because the guys at the dealership were great but they couldn't make a sale because of park Bank's unethical business practices. No one should ever work with Park national bank under any circumstances.

I am a 20 year customer of Park National Bank. Recently, I was contacted by the fraud department of Park National. They explained that there were some, potentially, fraudulent charges on my account that needed my attention. After a quick review of my transaction history, I saw that there was a transaction for $270 tat I had not authorized. I would have never caught it in time had it not been for the Park National fraud department..... But, when I told them that they were correct, that I had not made the transaction. THEY REFUSED TO STOP THE TRANSACTION, ALTHOUGH IT WAS STILL PENDING. Once the transaction went through, PARK NATIONAL SAID THEY PERFORMED AN INVESTIGATION AND FOUND THAT IT WAS NOT FRAUD. Even though, they were the ones who alerted me of the transaction, and I confirmed it. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WHATS THE POINT OF A FRAUD DEPARTMENT. WHATS THE POINT OF CATCHING FRAUDULENT TRANSACTIONS, IF ONLY TO LET THEM TAKE THE MONEY ANY WAY. VERY SAD THAT I HAVE TO FIND A NEW BANK.

The drive thru wait is absolutely ridiculous. It’s even more irritating when you just see people standing around doing nothing but talking. If you have two teller stations for the drive thru...why are you not use them? Someone needs to get the issue under control.
