Manager yelled at his employee because they were in the middle of a rush and she brought a customer his food to the table. I was told I had a 30 minute wait as soon as I walked in the door versus a "Hello". The employee was beyond frustrated, you could tell by the overall atmosphere. Will not be returning. Managers actions were ridiculous. 30 minutes and I'm still waiting on my food. Ridiculous. Not very customer friendly atmosphere.

Ordered a sub with meat and cheese only, it came with everything. Sent it back and they wiped everything off and wrapped it up with bits all over. Zero sense with today's service!

Pricey... especially compared to other sub shops.... it's good though so every now and again I spend the extra cause it is good.

Workers have an attitude + health code violations. I'm a delivery driver for Doordash and went to pick-up an order there. The worker gave me an empty drink cup and told me to fill it up myself. I told her I couldn't because I'm not food safety certified & this drink isn't for me, it's for a customer I'm only delivering for. She got really snarky & walked away before I was done explaining. She started whispering and pointing at me with her coworker but she did fill the drink eventually. After I told her thank you she rolled her eyes and walked off on me again. Honestly makes me not want to do anymore pick-ups for them or eat their food again.

I placed an order at 6:02, with scheduled pick up at 6:45. I've ordered at the N 21st restaurant multiple times. We have a large family (9) and spend about $100 every time we order. This is the first time we've had an issue with our order. This time I only ordered 3 subs and used points to cover one of the subs. When I get there they don't have my order. I show them it has already been taken out of my bank app, I showed them my email receipt, and I showed them the order under "recents" ON THEIR WEBSITE!!! The employee called the manager and they REFUSED to make my order. They couldn't tell me how to get a refund, or a number to call or anything just sorry about your luck. Worst customer service ever and I can tell you we won't ever be back. Guess we'll be buying Jersey Mikes tonight and for the foreseeable future. Guess my husband was right Jersey Mikes for the win, praise the Lord there's a new one in town. Your employees need training on good customer service, but with management like I saw tonight, who's surprised.

I remember when firehouse used to be both good food AND good service. The people here are very unfriendly. They seem as though they are miserable. I am having a hard time recommending this location.

Only getting a 3 cause it depends on who's in there. Most the kids have very poor people skills or something cause they are far from greeting here. As well as don't listen or read back theborder to make sure they did it right. 2 times I've gotten home food was some how wrong. The first time they just gave us the wrong food understandable when busy like that for mistakes so we ate it and let it go. This last time the staff working was rude and lazy clearly didn't like each other so the Manger should see this and not schedule them same shifts or something. Cause fire house is a top for us at other locations the food is normally amazing food at a good price for what you want from a sandwich size to a sexual joke size (you know what I'm saying people) lol. But the 21st street location has alot of improvements with the staff and mostly it seems the younger staff. But this location is lucky for a 3 after the last visit and mess up prolly won't be eating this unless I go to one eles where.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Seems whatever you needParking: Parking lot is shared and small as well as hard to get into and out of on the busiest street in Newark area. Not much first come first serve lot other wise gotta park at the bank and walk over.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The food and customer service is phenomenal. I always get the cheddar brisket with BBQ sauce and mayonnaise. Also I make sure they put the pickle in as well.

Paid 30 bucks for three subs that were ordered hot, but served cold. All three had minuscule amounts of meat and toppings, and were flavorless as well. Took them well beyond the estimated time to make my order. Customer service is nonexistent. To the workers, if you hate your job that much, quit and stop serving lousy product to customers. Do better. For the owner, treat your employees right and train them correctly and you won’t get subpar reviews like this.
