The nurses and Dr were wonderful and gentle with my cat, Sammie, and then we needed to take care of the cost of the visit and they found a way to make it so we got everything we needed for the visit. Been a customer for years and if we keep getting treated the way we did today we will be lifelong customers here, thanks ladies!

Every single part of my experience here has been 10/10.The care given by Dr. Roberts and the above and beyond efforts of the assistants Brittany and Katie, as well as the very friendly receptionist Bridgette. Thank you all very much for your kindness and patience. Your expert guidance and handling of my high anxiety situation was handled with the best care possible. THANK YOU!

Don't waste your time and money.
Made an appointment for my dog to be seen about two masses one on the inside of her eyelid the other one on her knee / leg area. I told the receptionist this multiple times!!
Paid the dumb $30 deposit required for the first time appointment that goes towards your bill when you check out.
Fast forward to when the appointment was and the vet comes in and tells me that they won't remove the one on her eyelid. And that they never would for ANY eye problems, not just my dog.
They also told me there's only a 50% chance that they'll remove the one on her knee. And I had to come back at some point in the future when the surgeon was available to look at it to determine if they're even willing to do that. Wouldn't give me a quote or any idea for how much that would cost either.
So I wasted 2 hours out of my day and $90 that could have went towards a vet that would actually be willing to do the procedure.....
This pisses me off as we don't have much money to begin with...
Horrible business practices and won't return.

My dog has extreme anxiety and this place has always made he and I feel very comfortable. I have taken my dog here for 8 years now and have always had a great experience. I love how the vet and even some of the techs, they sit on the floor to make my dog feel more comfortable. They are always willing to give me an estimate ahead of time, which is so helpful! They are so knowledgeable and so passionate about animals.

I have had the worst experience at ValuVet in Newark for multiple reasons. First, in order to make an appointment you have to pay $30 and that $30 goes to your next bill. My first appointment there, they did not take the $30 off. They did end up taking it off after coming back in for another visit, I just had to remind them of their policy. Next, I had to collect a sample of urine from my cat, and it had to be refrigerated. I let them know that it was refrigerated and I’m glad it’s out of my fridge. On the paperwork I got back, it stated that the urine wasn’t refrigerated. Then, on the day that I had to put my cat down, they asked me if I wanted her ashes or if I wanted a paw print. I chose to have the paw print done and they told me that they would call me when it’s done and then that they would hold it for a month. I did not gotten a callback so I had to call them. They did not do it. At that point the manager was not in, so I was told she’d call me on the next Monday. Again, no call so I had to call back a day later. I talked to the receptionist and apparently no one had informed the manager. I was FINALLY called back and the manager told me that it was a complimentary thing that the crematorium does but I was NOT informed of that. The communication between the workers and to the customers is terrible and they don’t listen as well as they should. This was my emotional support animal and I really wanted the print done. I wish they told me is was a free service that someone else did otherwise I would’ve gotten the ashes. So upset and they offered a free visit there if I get a new animal but that made me more upset. I had a friend there with me and she confirmed that they asked the ashes or print. All in all, horrible experience. Heartbreaking - there is no fixing this.

They are very polite , but some of the pricing is bit high like the nail trims over priced ! They charged us $22 for each dog on the nail trims even the small dogs and did not trim them short or properly, we took them to someone else they were able trim way shorter without causing bleeding and we paid $15 with there nails somewhere else to be redone because they did poor job on my three dogs !!! That is the only complaint I have is the nail trims ! Please do better or charge less

Very helpful, compassionate, and their prices were relatively low compared to other vets.
