They are honest about what they can and cannot do. They can get your vehicle there and unfortunately when insurance is taking a while and parts are waiting to be shipped they do their best to keep you informed. Since my vehicle was waiting I asked them to fix current issues I already and super thankful they could do that while we waited for parts.

Had a vehicle towed there in October 2020 and said every week he'd have it done it wasn't a priority to get it done but he gave me his word multiple times and now it's July 2021 and I decided that I wanted it fixed and joe was mad because "he was gonna fix it next week " very poor business

Hillside auto recommended Lucas when I was in a bind and needed help asap. They made a call and even though the shop was full Joe fit my car in. I dropped it off the next morning and Joe Lucas the owner gave me a ride to my daughters house a few miles away. Since my car was a emergency repair I knew I'd have a little of a wait. Mr.Lucas kept me informed of what was going on and found out that the part I had gotten from hillsides didnt match up. He found a part that would work. It took a day to get everything together but my power steering unit was replaced and calibrated. Joe Lucas went above and beyond to help me, not only get the car running but to charge me the minimum he could. What was going to cost between 1000 and 1500 dollars elsewhere, I was charged 400 and price of power steering unit. He informed me to return the part I had orginally purchased for a refund,which I did with no questions asked. I couldnt have asked for a better place than Lucas Automotive and Hillsides. Thanks to Joe and Bubba for being the honest reliable men that they are!

Associate in Athens ohio location was inept. Did dont do their job. Wrong truck was given to us, the truck number and contract number of truck did not match. Gas and milledge was stated wrong on contract as well. The truck was returned to this location in ohio the same day with more gas than when picked it up. we were charged for an additional day, forced to take insurance and was charged for 701 miles that were not used saying the truck was returned in michigan. Totalling in an additional $399.74 that was deducted from our bank card.

Good vehicle crap vehicle doesn't matter. Joe is a great man and an awesome mechanic. I take all my work to him. I've had crap he fixed and nice he done work on. Super nice guy. Doesn't feel like he's trying to take your money ... but doing a good job. I highly recommend him.
