I used these guys about a month ago to move. I had 2 gentleman help me move from a THIRD floor apartment to a single family home. That was no small task taking everything down 3 flights of stairs and they didn't complain, worked efficiently and were very kind. they were experienced and handled my items with care. I'm still unboxing items and as I go l have found no damaged items or issues. I'm very thankful for their help!

John and his moving company were fantastic. The day started out rough as one of the movers got sick and threw up in our flower bed but John corrected it immediately and didn't charge us while we waited for the additional member to assist and replace the sick worker. The guys took great care of our items, moved everything where we needed it to go, and even helped unpack some stuff. He and his guys have offered many times to help with any dings that were accidentally left in walls due to our switchback steps. Once the guys were done, we felt comfortable enough with them to share a taco 12 pack from Taco Bell. Would definitely recommend them again.

If I could zero stars I would. Don't hire. Just rent a u-haul and move yourselves. We hired them and only 1 mover showed up. Ended up having to leave work early to help him. Got charged the full amount. Not happy still a month later.

I cannot recommend JJ Cabus Moving Company. The move was less than 5 miles so I was able to move most of my things myself. So all that need moved was a 4-piece bedroom set, dinette table and chairs,living and family room sets, an appliance, and a few items from the basement. The moving crew was three guys, late, and not only did they take forever to load things, they also damaged most of my bedroom, living, and office furniture. There were several scuff and groove marks all over the furniture, doorways, and walls on the old and new houses. They also broke the appliance and a couch. The owner initially promised to address the issue when I first spoke to him about the damages but actually tried to skirt his responsibility by ghosting me. The cost of the move ended up increasung because of the slow movers and paying for the repairs of the damaged furniture and both houses. I URGE EVERYONE TO AVOID AND NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Alert!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They're not firefighters, they left my 3 bedroom properties for more than 2 weeks in a warehouse and when they finally brought them, all my stuffs and kids clothings came with MOULD. For their information if my kids get sick I'll sue them for every penny until they shut down. They're near scammers, they won't take your calls after the get paid. Be careful and run from them as fast as your legs can carry

I have used JJ Cabus moving company 3x ! Each time they have moved me it was a great experience! The movers payed close attention to detail and It was amazing how they could pack things so neatly into a truck so I didn’t have to do two trips! Definitely will be using them when I need to move again! John Cabus the owner is great and and he’s a firefighter ! Definitely will be choosing them and would recommend to anyone needing a move !

I have used this moving company a couple of times. The first time, I was very pleased with the services and so I used them again to move into my new home. This time, only one mover arrived on time. 3 of the movers ended up getting into a fight with each other. One of the movers - the newest member - kept breaking items as they were being brought into the home. He also damaged some of the drywall in places. We received a credit reduction in the price we would pay. We tried to be positive about it. Then after we a week of unpacking, we discovered that one of the movers stole our bluetooth stereo receiver. We did not want to go accusing someone so we waited until more unpacking was completed and when I was sure it was stolen, I called the police and got a police report number. I contacted John Cabus and he said he was reporting this to his insurance to address the matter and after I gave him the police report number. He never paid us the money for the theft so we could replace our stolen equipment. I will not be using this service again needless to say. They are hit and miss to say the least.Addendum - unfortunately, Mr. Cabus refunded me my money the same day I posted this review. I posted during the day, and he paid me later that night via venmo. So, he was a man of his word and paid me back for my trouble.

Was told we would have movers 8-9am on Wednesday, they called around 9am and explained that since they didn’t finish there job the day before til 230am that it would be closer to 10, ok whatever, the job you need sleep, they finally arrived around 430pm, and started loading around 5pm, said it would take approx 2hrs to loaded, now mind you we had everything torn down and boxed ready to load, we didn’t get to our new address until almost midnight, finished unloading around 345am, when looking for a box my husband noticed he couldn’t find a box that had his meds in them, a table leg got lost and couple other boxes, those were brought back but still don’t have the meds, they claim that they don’t have them, and weve looked for days and don’t see them, the owner Jonathan was to contact me back on Friday evening sept 3 and has yet to do so, this company is not operated by firemen and the guy that moved us has a personality of someone who has done time. NEVER USE THIS COMPANYIF ANYONE HAS SIMILAR REVIEWS PLEASE SPEAK UP OR REACH ME PRIVATE ON MESSENGER

If I could rate them no stars I would. Was told they would arrive between 10 and 11 am. I called at 10:55 because no one had arrived yet and they said they were running late and would be there around 2:30pm. I am fine with being flexible so this was no big deal other then the lack of communication. However. The movers FINALLY arrived at 5:30pm. By 7 pm we were finally on the road after waiting all day. I get a call when we are almost to my new home an hour away from my old home and was told they forgot a dolly outside the house and they they need to go back. This is at almost 8pm. It took two more hours after that of me sitting and waiting for them to finally deliver my things and when they finally did they asked for help unloading so they could go home faster. They finally finished at 11pm. Please keep in mind it was all this for moving from one one bedroom apartment to another.At the end of all of this the owner promised me a discount and never delivered which is unprofessional and highly disrespectful of my time and money. Don’t use this company unless you want to waste time money and move your own things.

I am super pleased with their work, professionalism, dedication, and price. I was blown away at the care they put into making sure my property was protected for the move. They worked fast, and were a really friendly crew. Will definitely recommend them.

I really wouldn’t even give them one star. They committed to a move and kept in contact until the day scheduled. Two hours after the scheduled time I finally got a call saying it would be 3-4 more hours before they could get to my job??? I had called and texted prior with no return. Then they just stop contact all together and job was never done. Would not recommend to anyone!!!
