I had gotten a crazy quote from my dealership on repairing my A/C. Oxford was able to provide a free second opinion and repair my A/C within 3 hours for a fraction of the price.
The staff were welcoming and professional even providing Uber to and fro.
Just a great experience.

Booking an appointment was extremely easy and the service itself was completed quickly. I utilized the drop off/pick up service which was very convenient and once I got my car back, everything ran smoothly. Pricing was equivalent to a quote I got from the dealership. Definitely would take my car back here for future maintenance!

My rear differential went out on my F150. They had to rebuild the entire thing. They did an awesome job. It feels like I'm driving a new truck. They are great to work with!

I was extremely impressed by the honesty at Oxford. A nearby shop had told me I needed a full brake and rotor replace, but Oxford let me know I could wait a few more months so I could get more use out of the existing brakes.
They also went through the inspection results and broke the needed repairs as if this was their vehicle by telling me what they would prioritize fixing now versus later versus never.
I got the same experience with our second older car and I will not be going anywhere else!!!

I have always taken our cars to the dealer for routine service and repairs. I had heard good things about New Albany Car Services, now Oxford, and so I decided to give them a try for the 60k service on our Subaru Forester.
I received a quote over the phone that seemed more than reasonable for the services involved. When I arrived to have the work done, the service person told me it was going to be $400 more than I was initially quoted because the spark plugs are “expensive” and “difficult” to replace.
Upon checking out to pay, the same service person tells me oh, by the way, the tech broke one of your wheel studs off while rotating your tires. That’s why it took so long, as he had to replace it. He then proceeded to charge me an additional $150+ for that repair, telling me it was done “at cost.” They said it wasn’t their fault; the prior person (at the dealership) must have over tightened them.
Thankfully they weren’t able to get the spark plugs in time and so they didn’t end up doing that work. The dealership is going to replace them for me at the originally quoted cost as they’re just standard Subaru spark plugs.
I was completely scammed by Oxford Automotive. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Oxford did quick and clean work of my repair but my issue is more around transparency over costs. When asking for a breakdown of the costs related to my repair, they refused to disclose what their hourly shop/labor charge was. They danced around a 'sliding scale dependent on the difficulty of the job' but refused to confirm what hourly rate I was actually charged.

"Requested" an appt at the New Albany location for oil change/tire rotation early Tuesday afternoon for a 10am appt on Wednesday. Per instructions on Oxford's website l waited for a confirmation call... which never came - crickets!! Extremely disappointed as I moved to the New Albany area recently and needed a "new" mechanic/service center and was impressed with the Google ratings. Guess I'll just keep looking.

I CANNOT recommend this mechanic highly enough. Jason, the manager at Oxford is an honest, helpful, and generous person. I recently moved to the Columbus area and just from the couple times that I have dealt with the employees at Oxford, they have gained a lifelong customer.
I brought my 2016 Hyundai Accent in after an engine light went on for my catalytic converter (P0420 code) only 2 days after buying the car. I contacted my dealership and they rudely told me "too bad" because I didn't purchase a warranty (this is Great Lakes Hyundai of Dublin... don't bring your business there). I immediately went to Oxford and Jason checked out my car for free, gave me some engine cleaner as a gift, and told me to come back if I had any more problems. I'm not a car guy so I could have easily been taken advantage of if a mechanic said that I needed a new cat. Since then, my car has run perfectly after that simple fix. Jason showed his integrity and commitment to customers and I can't be more grateful to him for it. Thank you Oxford!
