Nice little hometown grocery store. Love the candy selection! They carry all the important things, like cigarettes, beer, diapers, and a little bit of everything. The owner is very friendly and I'm certain the Nickels employees are grateful.

How is this place even allowed to be open? Seems like one giant health code violation. Everything is dirty and smells. Coolers are all broken. There was also rotten meat for sale. I would advise nobody to shop there unless you want to be sick. Hopefully someone will shut it down and put a nice store in eventually.

This place does smell, Samanthas review is spot on, the ceiling has massive water damage so the musty smell is probably a combination of mold and old man Emmert himself. The whole establishment is unsanitary and defies belief how this place could pass a health inspection. Don't put anything in your mouth at Emmerts!
