Owners run a great shop in Newark and their new range is no exception. Josh and his wife always are a pleasure to work with and have a great spot to hang and sling some lead! Make sure to check this place out.

The new crew running the Dillion range is doing a lot of great work to get the facility up to par. A lot of maintenance was needed to clean the place ready to re open and now that the range is open for the season several local shoot clubs and groups have been having weekly shooting leagues ect. Its a great range, with loads of potential. Its safe and very accessible. With a pistol range, rifle range and Trap and skeet ranges there is something for everyone. I look forward to learning to shoot trap and skeet better

Always a pleasant experience. No frills, but no bull either.

The manager that runs the center is a very helpful guy, I have been 8 times or so. All he asks is you clean up your mess which he shouldn’t have to ask people to do that.

Great experience 1st time at the side and I had a great time and staff was super helpful, helped me understand the setups, helped me zeroing my new scope. Great price, great service, great side. Only reason why i couldn't give 5 stars is because of the location, no guns to really reant not allot of stuff to buy.

The guy at the front desk is super friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions. It was my first time making the trip out! I will definitely be back!

Friendly, out of the way place to go. Owner was friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices, a friend and I were three for about 3 hours, cost about 40dollars for the both of us. Had a pistol and rifle range to use. But bring your own targets to use, as they don't have any. Something like a campaign signs or similar to use works well. All in all a great way to spend some time in a relaxed environment, I really enjoyed it.

I’ve been to this range numerous times. Yes, the place is dated, call the Ohio State Parks department if you feel the need to complain. The man running has his hands tied, so you’re wasting your words. At least he’s open more hours than the previous management, and if you ask him something he is helpful and knowledgeable. The pistol range is cool with multiple steel targets to shoot. The rifle range is great too, with built in benches for you to use. All he asks is for you to sweep up your casings with the provided equipment. The manager told me he’d help me learn to shoot shotgun on that specific range, so I’m going to take him up on it this summer. If you want a fancy, air conditioned, conveyor belt target experience, go to an expensive indoor range. If you want to put some lead downrange, work on sighting in or increasing your skills, go to Dillon. And at $7 an hour, the only way to beat it is if you have property of your own to shoot on for free. I’m amazed by the whiners in these reviews, spouting off at the keyboard with no knowledge of what they speak. Maybe next they could ask him to put in a smoothie bar and a Keurig machine.Keep up the great AMERICAN facility dude. All these snowflakes who just recently purchased guns need somewhere to train.
