Deleted a not so good review from a recent experience. After talking with the business things worked out well and some of the ways things are done are going to be addressed. Thank you for working with me and actually listening, that's a rarity for a business anymore.

I have always had a wonderful experience when dealing with Mount Perry Propane. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. They take the time to sit and talk with you and explain what the programs are and what the different options are. I am happy to have them as my propane supplier.

Ever since they went corp. we now get a 210 service fee. Never had that before as I have been a customer over a decade. No one Answers the phone anymore. Not sure How long I will be with this company. They need to cancel the service fees and go back to community family own.

I don't know if I'll continue to use them for my propane refills...
Online costs a dollar more per gallon, so it is a must to call for orders. No point in doing automatic billing unless you want the highest dollar possible given to them.
When you get it filled, they encourage you to pay later after they mail the bill rather than in person during the refill. When you get the bill, they charge interest from the day you filled up with no 30 grace day period. If you pay your bill online, there are extra fees.
So you should pay by check to get the best deal. However, I mailed a check, and they tried to pull a fast one and say I never paid... So, I had to mail them a copy of the check that cleared from my bank as proof. Then they mailed me a letter saying they had a "mistake" with multiple customers... doubt it... they just tried to pull a fast one and get themselves a spot bonus with my money more likely... Just a headache for no reason and felt like they are always trying to scam you somehow...
I don't have much faith in their accounting department as they try to take as much money from the customers as they can take.

Our driveway is crap even in good weather. A few winters ago one of their drivers tried numerous times to get propane up our hill. He didn’t give up and finally made. We were so thankful!!

We switched from a company that we used for 25 years just so we could support local. I called today and was informed that they switched us to their sister company in Lancaster. When I asked if they had the same prices the lady told me there could be a small price difference. The lock in price for
Mt. Perry is $35 the lock in price for the Sister company is $65, I think that is a pretty big price increase. And when I asked why they switched us I was told because the other company was closer to us, which it is but only by 2 miles. I think I may be looking for a different company to service our propane.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Their employees have a habit of filling false claims to local authorities such as the sheriff and humane society!
Had an incident where one of their workers thought it would be a good idea to file a false claim saying there was a dead deer in a cage and a dog that was under fed. Well the sheriff said he was a complete idiot!
Guess he is a Karen who is of low intelligence, who's never lived in a rural environment nor a farm. Animals drag up dead carcasses often, especially after hunting season. And guess he has never seen a animal that is fed a natural diet, precisely a gallon of natural food daily.
Just don't use them or let them on your property!
