The lady was extremely nice, and explained to us they only have dry wines and that everyone’s palate was different so we wouldn’t hurt her feelings if we didn’t want to try anything. We were very thankful for her being so kind, but unfortunately we didn’t try anything because we only like sweet fruity wines.

We were finally able to visit this location again and loved our time here. We had the tasting room to ourselves and recieved amazing service. During our visit we tried all the wines that were offered and were incredibly impressed. If you like dry wines then you must visit this location. So many good options, especially the chardonnay. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

We had such a great time here a couple weeks ago. The tasting includes four different wines and we liked all of them. Only one of the wines on the tasting menu was a sparkling wine. I think we also had a chardonnay and a pinot noir. All of their wines are dry, which is what we prefer to drink. Ravenhurst makes another sparkling wine that was not on the tasting menu, but is available for purchase. We came home with a bottle of each of the sparkling wines and the 2014 Chard Reserve (the bubbly wines were $30/bottle, and the other was maybe $14).
The owner came out and chatted with us while we savored our wine. He showed us great hospitality, and we enjoyed learning about his winery and grape growing in Ohio and Michigan. The wines are made in small batches by the owner and a small number of employees. They are planning to release some new wines in the next year, so we will definitely be back to try them (and purchase more).
