Morts has been my go to place for a number of years. They have always been an honest establishment. Although it was sold a few years ago they have carried on the tradition of Stan and Maggie the original owners and I do not trust my vehicles to just anyone. My family still all go there for their auto repairs and have always found fair prices and good work. I have previously been in the automotive business in different categories and trust Mort's to do a good job and have never been disappointed in their services. Will continue to take my vehicles there and recommend them to others.

So we took my husbands car to morts on west gambier street mount vernon ohio, to get the tires aligned. We took it to them around 11am, and called them about 3:15pm to see if the car was done beacuse my husband had to work and wanted to drive it finally. We just spent almost 6 months rebuilding this thing. So anyway, he called and they said "your muffler couldn't clear our jacks". Why not call us sooner so we could try to find somewhere else to take it? It's annoying but ok yes things get busy, so we understand. We had to wait until my husband got home around 10pm to go pick it up. He pulled out, and I was behind him. I noticed something was hanging where it shouldn't be, so I flashed my lights to get his attention. He got out and climbed on the cold ground to take a look, and he found out that they ripped part of his muffler!! He called them this morning to see if they would fix it, being as it was perfectly intact when he took it to them, and the gentleman he talked to swore up and down they didn't do it. When dillon told him it's only like $10 worth of bolts that need replaced, the guy flipped his s*** that my husband was calling them over $10, he just kept yelling so my husband hung up on him. Um I'm sorry but it doesn't matter how much it cost, the point is you mess something up you need to fix it and not be a douchebag. The picture of it hanging isn't great because his car is so low now it's hard to get under lol, but either way that piece hanging by the blue part should not be hanging. And they dented it closer to where it exits the car trying to clear it. They will never get our business again if that's how they treat customers after THEY mess something up.
