The manager Kelly and her lackey new rise Dan, are not professional in the lease. They talk down to the employees which the other manager Wade does as well, but not as bad as Kelly and Dan do that I've seen. I was there buying, and the way she spoke to an employee was so disgraceful. I as a customer wanted to snatch her by the ear and give her a talking to. Kelly is very unprofessional, on another trip last month I was buying a few things. The way she spoke to the youñg man Daniel I think his name was. That young man does a lot, he's always busy Everytime I come in which is nearly daily getting something from garden. The other boys outside sitting and ignoring old ladies like myself when we need help. But Daniel is so eager to assist us when he sees any of me or my older friends out looking. Even if he sees us inside he offers to help. I get easily confused, he offered to help. When he walked away Kelly approached and was rude because he was inside helping little ole me. She didn't care she was so disrespectful to the young man..

Do not buy the ARTT window air conditioner from them! Ours died after 6 weeks of use and we were told that it has a manufacturer warranty and we will have to ship it back to the manufacturer ourselves. I like Rural King but this is a bad product.

Normally I would rate this place 5 stars. We've been going here for quite awhile to buy our gardening supplies, but today an unusual occurrence took place. One of the staff followed us through the entire store. Being super obvious. We have never not paid for items there. That makes me not want to go back. Rural King, maybe teach your managers to be a little discreet, and not so blatantly disrespectful. Lady in the black shirt who made a comment while we were paying for our items that literally watched us and follow us clear through the store, please tell me you're following people without telling me. All the other workers are polite and very respectful. You shouldn't be judgemental. Clearly there are all types of people all over the world. Judge not lest ye be judged. Please, find someone to take her position. People like her are what's wrong with this country. Judging others due to their appearance? I'm sorry that my husband and I don't meet your criteria.

Absolutely the worst store I've ever been in. The manager James at the Mount Vernon Ohio store should be fired for the way he talks to customers. I had a 30 inch drum fan that had been rung up at the register. I noticed the price was 40.00 higher. When I questioned it I was told by three managers the price was right. I went back took a picture of what they had displayed. James told me that was wrong. James ask me if I wanted him to put the fan back and I said no. At this point I'm still thinking about whether or not I want to purchase the fan. James then said to me if you think your going to steal this fan...What??? It had already been rung up. I am a 64 year old female with a military disability. Also waiting surgery on the 15th on left hand. I can't even lift this fan much less run out the door with it. I filed a complaint with Ohio Attorney Generals office. The store finally sold the fan for the advertised price. No apologies from James. Nothing happened to James. Please people do not buy from this store. Read all the bad reviews. With people LIKE JAMES as a manager who knows how you will be treated. I am certain he would not talk to a man the way he talked to me. I hope he gets fired and will not settle for anything less. He shows discrimination against elderly woman
