“I had the fig appetizer and the filet with the risotto. Perfect! My husband had the calamari and the boneless ribeye with the risotto. Everything was cooked and served with perfection. We love The Alcove as it's local to us and equal or better than any Columbus restaurant that we have tried. Mt. Vernon is a safe and friendly college town. We love it.”

“My family LOVES those place. This mom & son establishment had a great selection of food from subs to hamburgers to pizza and other entrees and appetizers. While my husband and I relaxed our daughter played games and won prizes withput us worrying. They even helped when a game didn't work (they unjammed it). If you want to eat somewhere new where your kids are welcomed to run around while you play a game of pool and have an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink, then this is the place. Try it out.”
