If you have an issue with your car I highly recommend you NOT sending it here to the auto repair shop. Not only have they told us 3 different times it was fixed after we were rear-ended over a month ago, but they also left her car on E today when we went to pick it up, gas light on with ZERO miles to go and said have a good day there’s a gas station down the road. It had a half a tank in it when we dropped it off. The first time they didn’t believe us when we told them the trunk they fixed leaks when it rains. The second time they told us they couldn’t find a leak even though there was standing water on the floor of her back seat and the seats were soaked and now finally this third time of them taking it back after the car flooded again, there was 2 inches of standing water they found under her seats when they took them out to have it detailed because there was so much mold growing. The car never leaked before she was hit and they finally found two leaks around her taillights that they replaced.

If you value the reliability of your car, do not let the shop take care of anything in a claim beyond body damage in a claim.
Oh, and after they gaslight you that your AC was never strong and the transmission always caused it to stall, they sign you up for their marketing emails to renew your warranty.
Seriously the worst.

Salesman was unmotivated and unknowlegeable about the vehicle we set up an appointment to test drive. We drove over an hour and a half to get there and the vehicle also had obvious flaws that 'somehow' did not show up in the photos. Do not recommend Frank for a salesman!!!

Glenn Frye was very helpful. Had several cars ready for our test drives, explained our deal clearly, and got us in the perfect vehicle for us.
Seth explained our paperwork clearly & concisely then had us on our way to enjoy our new Trax in a very short time.
We highly recommend Mount Vernon GM & the great staff.

I purchased my car there in 2016. A few years ago I had a bad experience with the service department as you had a redhead Woman In the service department that was so rude I stopped coming to you. After my recent visit it seems that you have employed new people in the service department who were very polite and knowledgeable. His name is Ben. Thank you Ben for showing me wonderful customer service. For this reason I will return for my oil changes and tire rotations.

I brought my Vehicle in around 8 am, and decided to wait for the service to be completed. I was told it would take a few hours to complete the work. I was able to bring a few things to work on and was provided a spot with a desk. Everyone was very helpful. Ben my assigned service advisor kept me up to date on the status. Thank You for the accommodations and the quality services.

I can’t say enough kind words for the service people at GMC in Mt Vernon especially Josh. Our 2018 Cadillac was experiencing an emergency issue that required us to leave our vehicle. Next day we took our truck in for routine oil change and found that we had to leave truck for repair as well. Basically we were stranded and I was scheduled for surgery the next morning. It was a mess!! Josh was so kind at GMC and made sure we had a loaner car to get back home. (We lived approx 30 plus miles from dealership). Long story short …. Both vehicles were fixed to perfection and we were able to return loaner and get back to normal so to speak! Thank you GMC Mt Vernon for your superior service and for your kind help and understanding during our difficult times!!!!

I thought a car dealership sold cars, but I was mistaken they only sell loans. Glen refused to sell me a truck when I offered to pay cash, he outright refused my sale at full price. The only way I could make this purchase was through their financing. Does that make sense??
