The place was very nice. We couldn't find any balls larger than 6 or 8 lbs and the lane we used had to be fixed after almost every 5 or 6 bowls due to our balls getting stuck. Since we paid 50 dollars for 2 hours it was very annoying to have to stop and go ask for help. But overall we had a good time.

I actually went to Pirates Cove the Pizza place in the bowling ally. Colonial Lanes has something for everyone. On one side there is Pirates Cove Pizza, in the middle is the bowling ally which has always been kept up well and is a fun time, and a bar that doubles as a local outside concert venue in the summer. Good times every time I've been there and give utilized all the venue options over the years.

I wish the lanes would truly post when open bowling is rather than just their open hours. It would be nice to be able to set up reservations so that you are sure to get lanes and not just first come first serve.

Went on a Saturday early evening. It was pretty busy and many of the lanes were in use. It was $3 for a shoe rental. Each game per person was $4.75 so a round for 2 people was $15.50 in total for the firsg round, but $9.50 for each round after since we already had rented the shoes. They have glow bowling at 9pm and are open daily. There were a decent amount of bowling balls to pick from. Other people had to show us how to input our names into the machine and that there was a reset button on the side of the bowling. It was really fun bowling. Sadly the rates were not posted so not sure if there were by the hour rates available or what. The machine also didn't have instructions.

This was my first time at Colonial and I have to say, while they do have the old school screens, I was glad to see it. They're much easier to operate. As far as the lanes are concerned, we were able to quickly get set on a lane and the accessibility was vital as one of our party was in a wheelchair. We had no issue getting her onto the lane and they had ramps for her to use.The only issues we ran into were with the lane. One ball got stuck and the ball conveyor left a decent rubber skid mark on the ball, but the lady running the desk addressed it immediately and cleaned the ball herself. Also, my brother and his girlfriend enjoyed the bar food, so that's always a plus.Overall, would definitely return and will definitely recommend this place for bowling to friends that live close by.

Very rude staff. I called to reserve a lane and they told me it was first come first serve so I went with me kids to do something different and when we got there they told us they had no lanes available because they were all reserved already...
