I love the convenience of the Dollar General. Grocery items are typically cheaper at Kroger (at least the store brand if not the national brand) but the Dollar General is closer and more convenient if I just need to run in for a thing or two. It’s nice to have somewhere in our small town to get a T-shirt or something random that you need last minute. One of the regular workers at our local store is sweet. The other is kind of intimidating. It’s not my fault that the self check out never works. I try to be a low maintenance customer by being self sufficient.

IT IS A WASTE OF TIME TO GO THERE ANYMORE, CAUSE THEIR PRICES HAVE GOTTEN AS HIGH AS THE GROCERY STORE! WHY WASTE YOUR TIME AND GAS,, YOU MIGHT AS WELL BUY EVERYTHING AT THE GROCERY STORE. THEY SAY THEY ARE OUT OF THE SALE ITEMS, BUT WHEN THE SALE IS OVER THEY STOCK THE SHELVES!! LIES!!!

Managers extremely rude!Thinking about calling cooperate!called about a refund to ask how long it generally takes to go back to my card since I don’t feel the refund was even done correctly and she was rude over the phone!My husband went in yesterday to get 5 off 25 mind you I’m the couponer not him he just knows you save 5 over Saturday and she says uhm you have to have a receipt from last week or have a coupon clipped which I think was extrude considering every other dollar store including the STAFF at this store will generally keep a receipt at the register to scan for ya and she I guess just doesn’t care to help people I’m not sure but as previously having management experience your supposed to help solve problems if a customers unsatisfactory so highly considering just not even going back in there!

I went in to grab one thing for my car and i grabbed a few things . One item did not have a price on it so i rung it up on self check out anyway assuming it couldnt cost that much but i was wrong.So i was calling for help for 10 minutes straight and 10 minutes feels like forever when u just waiting on someone to void an item . After screaming for help around the store and my mother screaming for help. I finally just left without anything i came for.
