Stylist: Ray was courteous, professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable and I love my hair. He explained every thing he did and why. He also gave excellent tips about how to care for my hair between visits. I will be back.

This August, I did my first perm in my hometown. My hair was dyed to shoulder length, so I was warned that the result might not be what I expected - but it was exactly what it was, and even better - exactly like the reference picture. I was warned that the curls would last up to five months - until December, however, they lasted much longer (and still do). But the roots grew quite long, so I decided to renew my hairstyle: and I made the biggest mistake by signing up here (12/29/23)
The stylist was extremely rude even on the phone and this continued in the salon. She was pulling my hair like she was trying to pull it out of my head. She picked up the wrong size pertussis (because she didn't even ask what result I was expecting). She started arguing with me to make it sound like I had recently gotten a haircut (which I hadn't; I still don't understand what reason I would have to lie to a stranger about the time of my haircut).
During the whole process, I tried to maintain a polite dialogue with her, smile, be "quiet", but the stylist continued to be rude and displeased. Now I understand: what the hell?! It is not for me to try to please a stranger; being polite is a mandatory part of service.
She kept the product on my hair for less than 20 minutes (by standards it should be about an hour). She let me dry my hair but said it was over when my head was still wet.
As a result, a curl that should have lasted on the head for 6 months lasted less than 2 weeks. I was left with a bad experience, minus $97 and no curls. The curls remained only on the dyed ends, on which I did a perm already 8 months ago.
If I hadn't had the previous experience in the summer, I wouldn't have understood how horrible that experience was.
Why am I writing now? I am currently looking for a new salon to get my perm done before summer. Probably someone else is looking, and someone else would benefit from my experience. Avoid this salon!
