This vet saved my cat's life! He was attacked by an animal, and this vet's office rushed him in and gave him all the care he needed. I was so scared when I first got there. The veterinary assistant that saw us right away was so compassionate and helped me feel much better. The veterinarian, Dr. Reed, did a great job operating on him and giving him check ups. The receptionist was always lovely, and the staff was very helpful discussing pricing information. Everybody took such good care of my cat, Bobby, and had such nice things to say about him. You can tell the people here truly love animals.
My little Bobby is now a happy, healthy indoor kitty thanks to the miracle service provided by Monroe Family Pet Hospital! I have some before and after pics of the little guy.

I think the biggest testimony I can give is simply: we drive many, many, MANY miles to get our pets into Dr. Reed’s hands, especially for our exotics! She wants answers, will tell it to you straight, and will work with you to ensure your pet has the best care possible for your circumstances. Plus, the rest of our staff loves on our pets, too.

We love Monroe Family pet! They are always willing to help answer questions without hesitation. They are easy to get into for appointments and even those last minute appointments when my pup isn't feeling well. Everyone that works there is great. Highly recommend this vet!

I have been using Monroe Pet Hospital for several years now and have never been disappointed with the care and service that my dog’s have received! I currently have a 17 month old German Shepherd who was due for his rabies vaccine and two other. This was the first time that we had Dr T as his vet, and was I impressed! Dr. T asked lots of questions about my dog and answered any questions that I ask. More importantly, he TOOK his time and wasn’t in any hurry! I highly recommend Monroe Pet Hospital!

Dr Osborne took her time to answer questions and throughly look over my cat, for any other issues. The staff was friendly and they even make a follow up call the next day. The wait time was minimal. Thank you I appreciate the way you care my cats!

Do not let Dr. Tarabrella handle the care of your animals. Our previous vet, who just left this practice, was treating her for breathing issues, possibly asthma. As we started to step down on her steriod dosage she got worse so i took her back in. Dr. Tarabrella refused to treat my cat, told me she had lung cancer and I needed to put her down. He was very arrogant and when her lab work came back, not supporting his diagnosis, he stated he didn't trust the lab results (from the lab they use?!?!) and he wouldn't prescribe anything i suggested because it wouldnt help, since she was dying of lung cancer.
I wasn't able to get her in at another vet quickly so I took her back in again for a second opinion, as she was getting worse. This time we were able to see Dr. Reed. It turned out she had an infection that turned into pneumonia NOT lung cancer. It was a pretty bad infection since it went untreated, but there was hope. Unfortunately the infection wasn't treated in time and she passed away the following morning. She could of possibly been saved if this arrogant vet would of just did his job and treated her properly a few days earlier.
I am giving a 2 star review because the other vets there had previously given her great care and did try to save her that last day. If you take you pet there please steer clear of him. I will not return here as long as he is on staff and we will be submitting a formal complaint with the Veterinary Board.

I came here for the first time with a sick dog. I will be a client for life. From the friendly front desk staff, compassionate techs and amazing vets I felt like my best dog buddy and I were the most important people at the office. I was informed every step of the way what tests and treatments were being suggested and why. I believed the vet when he said he was worrying about my dog too over the weekend. I always felt supported and heard. After some trial and error I think we’re on the right track with his weird case and I can’t thank everyone enough for getting me back the spunky, fun, goofy, loving dog I’ve known for 3 years.

I've taken three cats and our dog to Monroe Pet Hospital. Two of the cats were feral which they were happy to take care of. Their care of animals is great and they 're excellent at explaining things to the owner.

I took my dog there once before he moved to his new office in the front of the plaza and he tried to charge me over $250 have my dogs teeth looked at and when I said I couldn't afford it he actually got on the phone and tried to guilt me into spending money saying things like well. Some people put money before their dogs and if money is more important... That's a rude and sensitive. Horrible thing for a veterinarian to say to a dog owner. My dogs have always had excellent care and they've always had everything they needed but I didn't have to pay ridiculous amounts to get it and just because a person can't afford a huge amount like that doesn't mean that they're putting money before their dogs or that money's more important. It wasn't long after before he started building the new office. So all you people who are going to him now can rest assured you paid for that office of his.

The staff here love your animals as if they are their own. They were incredibly mindful of the quality of life as well as the expenses required when my cat was in end stage kidney failure back in 2021. Their consideration and kindness was much appreciated during a difficult time. My vet for life !
