Bought a few new pairs of shoes at a great price!

Although I love and have used Merrell for a long time, I am only giving this store one star because they are not a good place to buy Merrell if you just want one pair of shoes. Let me explain to you better, I traveled 1 hour to get there to buy a Trail Glove 7 because I had a 15% VIP discount for the outlet store, when I went to the checkout I asked for the discount and the answer was "this discount does not apply to Trail Glove because it's a Merrell Favorites" I said ok and bought it for 120 dollars. When I got home, I decided to check out their website and, to my surprise, they were offering 20% off with free shipping!!!! So why will you waste your time going there!

The girl who helped me when I came in was knowledgeable about the shoes. I didn't feel like there was much of a selection for wider feet but didn't really get enough time to look. The store was pretty busy and the isles were kinda narrow so it made browsing a bit uncomfortable. I will try again when it's less busy.

Tldr: The discounts at this Merrell store used to include any of the shoes in the store, and they used to carry all their lines. Not anymore.My husband and I came to find replacements for our shoes that we bought at this store a couple years ago. Our shoes are "vapor gloves". We found out that they have "trail gloves" that are also zero drop but have arch support and aren't the barefoot style. That's fine and all- we didn't complain or cause any issues. We tried on the trail gloves and didn't like them as much as the vapor gloves. We commented to each other that yeah, hmm, not loving the trail gloves. Then the lady helping us, who has been oddly judgmental already, was like, "we don't carry the vapor gloves in store because they're so popular. ?Too popular to be in this teeeeeeeny little store. ? You have to buy them online." We have only ever bought our shoes at this particular store so yeah, I didn't realize that I was being so sTuPiD by going here to find that line of shoes. Then she kept working on my husband to sell him the trail gloves. He was like, "I saw these aren't part of your promotion?" She sort of cut him off and said that yeah, there was no sale or discount on *them* but if he bought them for full price he could get another sort of shoe or two for half price. I don't know why she mentioned that because the trail gloves were not part of the discount category ($120 each) and that's all we were looking at buying. Tbh, it was a really strange interaction. Would you pay $240+ at an outlet store for shoes you didn't want?

Walked in for an exchange on a busy Saturday. I was instantly greeted and taking care of. They didn’t have the size I needed, but offered to let me try another pair and ultimately found the right size shoe at another store and shipped them straight to my house for only $5. Best customer service experience at the outlet mall! I’ll be back for sure!
