Worse customer service— owner is very rude. They don’t respect their customers. I have witnessed and personally experience they discriminate ppl and yell at them unnecessarily. Ppl pay for the produce— they should work on their customers services rather than being ungrateful about it. I don’t recommend them at all. Their produce is highly processed and overpriced commercially and top of that they are too arrogant. Horrible ppl Please don’t waste your money on them. Never going back again.

I have been going to walnut drive gardens for years. I noticed that things have been declining, so I stopped going for a few years. Decided I'd give them another shot, so I went back this year Sept 2023. I was extremely disappointed. I always pick tomatoes, and the tomatoes were all rotting right off the vines. They also did not taste the way they used to. Possibly switched to a cheaper brand tomato?? They didn't seem the same. Then I had brought along my 81 year old father because he wanted a bucket of tomatoes himself. Well next thing I know, there is a guy with a gun yelling at us to come in because they were closing soon. which I felt was a little drastic but understandable, The way he treated us and was yelling at us was not. Very rude. Very disrespectful. And I explained to him that I had to go out and get the bucket of tomatoes that my father had picked because he could not walk and carry it that far back to the car but the man with the gun could have cared less. He just wanted us out of the field. I felt like if my dad would have passed out while walking, he probably woulda just let him lay there. So if all that wasn't bad enough , We finally get our buckets back to the checkout and turns out all they take is Venmo and cash. No credit cards , no EBT., nothing. Just cash and venmo. Thank goodness that my father has some cash on him. Or we would have had to leave all those tomatoes that we just picked out in the hot heat and go home with nothing. And then to top all of that off , they tell you it's $16 a bucket. So we all know that we're going to go out there and try to fit as many tomatoes in the bucket as you can. Or at least fill it up and have a few tomatoes sticking over the rim. well. He proceeds to tell me it's gonna be an extra $2. Because there's a few tomatoes sticking up over the rim. He tells me " levels level." So I checked with some customers outside, and they were all charged the extra $2 as well. So clearly, they are taking advantage of people and not telling them ahead of time that the bucket must be level. And then getting an extra two dollars a pop off of each person. I will never return to this farm, and it's a shame because I did business with them for years and years. Since I was a kid. Also, if the owner of walnut drive gardens is reading this;I don't know if you guys let somebody else take over and manage or if that guy that carries that gun on his side is running the place, but he's ruining your business. I'm just letting you know. You can't be rude to your customers and treat people that way and then scam them out of $2 extra. Is just not right. So you might want to look into some things if you didn't know this was going on. Thank you. It was nice doing business with you for the last 30 years. Goodbye.
