Our mini schnauzer was a 1st time patient and needed her stones removed. MCV took her in immediately for surgery. The staff was excellent and we recieved excellent care. Pricing was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them!

I would love to say they are absolutely horrible, dont go so it doesn't get crazy busy, but I don't have a bad thing to say. I've been going here for 17 years when it was just Dr. Tangeman. He is absolutely amazing and the staff are fantastic, we've been thru some crazy bad days with my animals to amazing days, and everyone there is just absolutely amazing. I moved away and come back for my fur babies to get seen only here, check ups, illness, or because my fur babies did something stupid.

I started going to this clinic during their renovations and was honestly unimpressed and unsure I wanted to return. I'm so glad I did! The whole team was absolutely wonderful, and it's a shame I wasn't able to see that before. The vet completely understood my nervous shepherd, and handled him without a problem. I'm so grateful I can take him somewhere compassionate and I don't have to worry. Thanks guys!

I first brought Brodie to Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre on the recommendation of a friend. He is a large dog and hurt his leg at a play area near my home. I took him to my regular vet and they said he was fine. Two days later he was worse and would not stand or walk. I then took him to a Veterinary Hospital and there were no results. When I mentioned this to a friend, she said take him to Dr. Tangeman. I did and the rest is history. He examined Brodie and we discussed surgery or laser therapy. I decided to try laser therapy and after the first treatment, Brodie actually walked to the car and got in on his own. Prior to that I was having to call my nephew, sister, daughter, whoever could help me load him. I would never take any pet anywhere else. The entire staff are kind and caring. I can't say enough good about the care at Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre!!!

Ever since Covid & their ridiculous remodel, they haven't been the caring place they once were! Now, they're all about getting your money, & they can't even remember what gender your pet is when they contact you!!

I have never seen such a caring & devoted staff from the receptionists to Dr. Tangeman & everyone in between; always pleasant, polite & professional! I have been seeing Dr. Tangeman for a very long time & he has always been thorough & welcomes any questions or concerns which he gladly addresses. They all took such good care of Davey & Katiebug during their recent
appointments & Davey when he had his teeth cleaned & a tooth pulled. Treated just as they would be if they were their very own pets! Thank you all!! You're WONDERFUL!! I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere. ?❤️?

Office lady is rude. Called so I can have a copy of rabies that I needed right away and she said she was sending it. Called back cause I still didn't get it and was put on hold for 10 minutes. Called back again because I thought I was forgotten and she asked if she could put me on hold again. I said no just wanted to check and see if it was sent over and she then answered with "I'm in the middle of something can you wait" and was put on hold for a 3rd time

No idea if they’re good at helping animals but I do know they treat people like dogs and I’ll never be going back there. They were so rude it became surreal and my girlfriend and I could only laugh. It started when the receptionist literally yelled at my girlfriend who was trying to communicate that she had tried to call but was left on hold. Then it was the vet tech who kept rolling her eyes at us and phrased things in the most passive aggressive way that I thought she was auditioning for SNL. Then the Vet came in and was so weirdly hostile and condescending that we had to just laugh. The vet explained to us how sleep medicine works, “wow gee well thanks guy for the free education” it was like… whaaaaatttt? Our dog has anxiety issues that sometimes causes seizures and this place has no idea how to handle that and instead tried to make our dogs biological anxiety reactions our fault. Maybe these people have been around animals too much that they need a free education on dealing with human beings.

The amount of condescending ill mannered people that work at this place is amazing. I thought that they would be better with my dog than with people but nope.

Dr. Tangeman was very thorough in his examination of our dog and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. The office staff is always helpful, and the newly remodeled clinic is well laid out and very attractive.
