If you quote someone $8000.00 to rebuild an old flat head Ford you either don't know what your doing or you really don't want to do it. Instead of being honest this is the stuff they pull. Then charged $832.00 for a one axle break job on a tractor they deemed needed a full rebuild. The brake parts were $62.00 so like 750 for labor ? why would you fix the brakes if you think it needs a rebuild. Btw it didn't need rebuilt just some entry level adjustments on governor and carb. You think a place like this would know that, i have a feeling they did just wanted to take advantage of someone for the money.

They tried to charge my neighbor 8,000 dollars to rebuild a 2n engine because it smoked a little. When after all it was only in need of a carb and governor tune adjustment. Then proceeded to charge him $832.00 for rear brake pads when the equipment was only 62.00. Con artists in my opinion. But that's what you get with Mennonite.

I have had Mt Hope do three of my tractors. Best restoration I have ever seen and I have seen several. Attention to detail from mechanicals to paint is second to none.I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an outstanding restoration.

Rental equipment is nice, but billing is where they try and get you. I shredded a batwing tire during transport. No big deal, it says in the rental agreement that I may be responsible for this. Nowhere on the billing statement did it say anything about the tire. Instead I was charged an extra half day for mower rental which I did not use (100$) and a cleaning fee of (50$) after I cleaned all chaff off of the tractor. When I called about the billing issues, I was told that they would be rectified, but I now owed 150$ for the tire. I would think some honesty would come I to play here. Just charge me for the tire I stead of playing money games and trying to hide it. Since they weren't up front about it and still went for the tire money, that's pretty shady. I would try to rent from a more reputable company with up front billing.
