Very quiet area. Roomy space on lower level, 8 steps to get to closed in porch. Would be lovely to sit out in nice weather.Walkability: Just a few blocks from the main street in town

We absolutely loved this place. My sister and I brought my 2 grand-daughters (ages 13 and 16) who thought it was the best place they ever stayed. It gets an A++ for both charm and forAll the thought that went into setting it up for their guests.

Pleasantly surprised by the kiddie bag for my daughter on the bed she slept on. Instead of chocolates she got fruit snacks and cookies (kid favs) also they made sure to have hot cocoa available for her as I asked if they would. It was very cozy not just in temperature but in its decor as well. The beds were quite comfortable, and warm. The private patio is nice to enjoy the chirping birds in the morning. Definitely will be back in the spring so we can fully enjoy the patio.

Beautifully decorated, clean b&b. The screened in porch was private and serene.

This bnb is in half of the owners lower level of their home (walk out basement).. There is an interior door between the rental and their side of the basement that only locks on their side. The owner came bursting through the door at 9pm the night of our anniversary stay. She said it was to turn on the porch lights (which we already turned on) and didn't know we were there (I sent an email giving a heads up we were arriving by bicycle, with reply confirmation). A latch needs to be added to the renter's side for safety and privacy! Otherwise this is a very clean and wonderful space with all the comforts of home and more.

What was good?
The unit was especially clean. A comfortable setting. Unique to say the least. Morning muffins and cinnamon rolls were a nice touch. Close to 'downtown'. I wouldn't say within walking distance in colder weather, but very accessible.
What was not so good?
Arrived around 5:30 pm on Friday -- back porch light was not on. Not a big deal but made maneuvering inside the covered porch and entering access code a little tricky. Also a minor issue, the yogurt supplied was expired. No biggie, we just didn't consume.
Biggest issue? Knowing this unit was in a lower level of the owners house I expected some noise from above. What I didn't expect is was a seemed to be a full on floor installation directly above the unit starting at 9am and lasting a minimum of 3 hours (we left @ noon and the 'construction' was still ongoing). The hammering, drilling, etc was just not acceptable without prior notice.
Nice place, not exactly an exceptional value. Just make certain there are no home improvements planned during your stay

This is an incredibly "cute" getaway location! While there are quite a few steps going down to the entrance, it has all the amenities needed inside, including the cutest little separate bedroom in a little half wall.

Such a cozy and warm atmosphere. Like you are in your own private cabin. Attention to detail and the added extras were amazing. Highly recommend!
