“In town on business and needed some water and snacks for the hotel room. Walked down to this little store and didn’t expect to meet one of the nicest people in Toledo. The owner of this store is the nicest and most personable human I have ever met on a work trip. His love for the community and people is so obvious. We stood and chatted with him for some time and every customer that came in was greeted with a kind “hello” and a smile. You can tell this man values every human that enters his business. 10/10. Highly recommend stopping in here if you need a snack or a drink while walking around downtown.”
“I’ve known Carol, the Island Variety owner, for 20 years as a vendor. She keeps it very clean inside with friendly counter people. They carry a wide range of snacks, drinks and other grab and go items, something for everyone. Highly recommend going here.”

“This is a great gas station... It's set up in a very convenient way that allows you to get in and out quickly... But be careful, if your not from the East Side you might not wanna stop here... rumer has it that most people can't handle it... I can't see why...? They close as soon as it gets dark so out of towners don't have to worry... just my opinion.”

“I've been goin to the bush store since 2009 and absolutely love that store, yes the owners are from overseas but they are super nice and funny the store stays open until 1 and opens before most other stores, stop in an check them out, clean and organized”
“Very fast and respectful staff, really glad we went here and I will be coming back everytime I need photos printed out. Some stores and or online shops take a hour or so with 100 pictures and they had 100 done in about 30 minutes, they were making sure everything was good and they have a really nice envelope they put the pi tires in and they are pretty durable and if you get it wet theres multiple layers so the pi tires did not get wet.”

“Have been stopping in here for gas between Chicago and Cleveland for over 10 yrs. Gas prices usually same or lower as others. Plus it is the best location for filling up and getting back on the turnpike! The easiest for sure! Clean inside, typical food selections. Try it”
“Carry out and restaurant. Clean and open. Great staff. Super friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and they have a beautiful relaxed eatey inside La Pam Pam. I just created a new business for that on here.A nice variety of foods and it's made with pride. They enjoy the customers as most would have conversations with customers if the place wasn't busy. I'd call this a gem. You don't find quality service anymore. The simple fact they learn who regulars are and take time to chit chat vs. the standard practice of giving me your money and getting out. It's impressive.The location is well lit and kept very clean. Dinning area is a delu style with old world decor and an environment you feel relaxed and comfortable. Some of the food takes a little longer, but it is worth it. It's faster than most of the toxic fast food joints around and the quality of the food is the best. It's all fresh. Seasonal fruit bowls, and salads are bought locally at the farmers market.I can't say enough. Awesome experience and wonderful food. A+ all around.”

“Nice clean truck stop. I stop in at approximately 4pm on a Friday and there was some parking spots. It has a tire shop and lube bays I think. Also it has a Subway and Hardee's.”
