Terrible gym, the owners do nothing but watch the cameras and harass you, you can't superset in this gym, that's all I have done for 8 years now with my lifts is supersets. This is not a gym to go to if your are trying to reach a better physique, they only care about the 4 members they have and clearly don't want any other members. Also big supporters of Rich Piana, Arnold, Ronnie, and Jay Cutler which all did supersets in their lifts. But you can't do it in their gym.

Great gym with an amazing gym atmosphere. Owners are on site constantly to handle anything that may come up and make sure the place stays clean. Definitely a great place to work out

I went to this gym for 2 months while home from school. While the overall gym is ok, the customer service is not. After canceling my membership, I am continued to be charged monthly although I haven't attended in over 2 months. I have tried contacting to re-cancel after being told I was successful in doing so 2 months ago but have not gotten through to anyone. I am frustrated. Wishing I had gone to a more reliable and organized place. Contact me ASAP, I would like my money back, as this is a huge financial inconvenience.

During graduate school I've used Iron Plate Gym during summer and winter breaks. The month to month rates were quite convenient, and the pricing is excellent for the equipment available. The gym was always clean, and ownership was friendly and communicative. Other gym goers were courteous and respectful. Excellent gym.

Best gym I’ve ever been a part of. No nonsense, no riff raff. Every member I’ve encountered so far is respectful and nice.

I was searching for a new gym around the local area came across this hole in the wall place and figured it would be a good fit. Shortly after starting a membership here the customer service lady that I called for very basic information was extremely rude and unprofessional about giving me information further telling me that I need to find another gym and I would not be agood fit at their gym because it's military people and veterans. I don't know any kind of business that would push away a customer before they even start! Further into the conversation she would not give me any information that I wanted told me I needed to read their rules and regulations which is fine but I never got a text message stating the rules that they have. So I just want to put this on here for future customers so they dont waist their time with unprofessional people and a very bad customer experience. Don't waist your time or your money.

Been going to Iron Plate for just over a year and it’s been the best gym I’ve been apart of. The owners are friendly and the facility meets/exceeds all of my needs. Super appreciative to have this non-commercial gym in our area.

I was a member at Iron Plate for well over a year. At first when I joined it was great and everythingwas so relaxed and care free. As time moved on the owners became more and more strict also controlling about everything that was done in the gym. They constantly mointored you over cameras to make sure that you did not break any of the rules even if it was a honest mistake. I and many of my friends who I got into Iron Plate would feel on edge and nervous that we would do something to upset the owners and their overly stict rules. When we did accidently break a rule we would in a matter of minutes recive a text ridiculing us for an accident. In once instance we called to apologize and never recived a response and was threatned to be put into time out. I came to Iron PLate to get away from Planet Fitness but endedup with my own personal lunk alarm. In conclusion, it was a good gym while it lasted but the constant nagging and prying eyes watching me while I lifted pushed me away to a better gym and facililty.

5 stars for equipment that I didn't get to use, 1 star for treatment by ownership that I didn't get to meet - averages out to 3 stars.I hope that this is a 1 off story and will make the assumption that someone else would have a more positive experience during a random interaction with Iron Plate's ownership...--My brother in law is in the Air Force and just got back from deployment from Kuwait. I live out of town, but was back in the Milford area celebrating his return with our families. I recognized Iron Plate's dedication to the armed forces and police based on a picture of the flags that they have hanging in their gym. I thought this would be an exceptional workout given the reason I was back and the type of gym that Iron Plate seemed to be. I was excited for anything but the planet fitness I generally go to when I am visiting my parents. I wanted to chalk up and eat.Iron Plate turns out to be a 24 hr scan in/scan out place.. No problem & nothing new - a lot of times these places have staff members present during the day. A member let me in and I asked if there was anybody present who worked there. No employees were present so I asked if there was someone that I could contact. I was given Ron's number (owner) by a member who was oddly nervous about upsetting ownership. I tried to call Ron several times and texted him asking if there was a way I could leave cash on a desk in exchange for a workout. I did not get a response so I continued hanging out, sitting on a treadmill 1 ft away from the door. The same member asked if I had gotten ahold of Ron. I said no and he gave me Sandra's number. I called her twice and she picked up the second time.Sandra is married to Ron. I asked her the same questions that I texted Ron - since no one was there to take my electronic money/information, I was looking to make a cash deal to get a workout in. Sandra advised that they didn't do day passes due to tight insurance and that a $30 membership was the only way that I could get a workout in. $30 is very cheap for a month at an actual gym but is on the high end of what I was willing to pay for a single workout. While thinking about buying a membership for a single workout, I asked one last time if there was another way. She immediately became aggressive and said that I was trespassing and to get out of her gym. Alrighty then, walked out the door.Roughly an hour later I am mid workout at Planet Fitness (the very one that I was trying to avoid) and my phone rings with a 513 area code. I answer, and it's the local police department. I could not believe it. I ran the police through the exact story that I outlined in the paragraphs above. I then told the police exactly where I was and that I would be there for the next 30-40 minutes if they would like to talk in person.By way of the law, I am now formally banned from Iron Plate and am legally not allowed back. L-O-L, man.Tough move by Iron Plate ownership given that I was originally very excited and was trying to give them money in exchange for a workout. I was contemplating signing up for a month long membership for *one* workout. I think that most people are good people, including Ron & Sandra. Although I will not play a part in it because I am legally not allowed, I wish your gym continued success.

The owners wife is constantly there and is a nag constantly looking at what are you doing and blaming you for things that aren’t your responsibility for four customer service I guess they don’t need the money cancel membership in the middle of the month we’re not wiping down a piece of equipment. Go someplace else get enough nagging at home I don’t need it at a place that I’m paying to join

Great gym with great owners. I would definitely recommend if you dont like the planet fitness atmosphere. Iron Plate has a hometown, slammin' plates atmosphere where you're free to put up heavy weight. But No matter where you are on your fitness journey, nobody judges you here. Grade A gym.

Solid setup. If you love free weights this place is for you. Owners are nice and personal. Very military and first responder friendly.
