“A hidden gem in a beautiful community. Perfect little spot to grab a book, head up to Alms and dive right in. Walking inside actually brought me back to a memory, or a vague idea of one. The smell of books, brightly colored and shelved. I didn’t know what I was after, I just felt around until something spoke to me. It was a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.It got me thinking, obviously enough to write this review. But when I was a kid, we stopped supporting these quirky little treasures of our community. We started buying our books at giant megabookstores until Amazon came in and… well… ya know. They kinda went extinct as a result. And when they were gone, we missed them and wanted them back. It’s so nice to see one return and The Bookery is exemplary of why they’re needed.So what if it wasn’t the absolute cheapest price I could have bought it for across the entirety of the internet. I got my money back with the experience.Five stars.”

“Rented the oratory and lawn for a private event. The facility was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect location for such an important gathering. However, the exceptional kindness of the women who run the place was so very appreciated. Elizabeth in particular was a refreshing, calm voice during a hectic time.
