Shop here all the time. They have great t-bone packs that are priced great. This is where I get my meats and the steaks are nice and thick. Well worth the prices. Their prices are a lot better than others. Always kept clean and friendly staff..

Store itself it's ok. Cheap prices and most food is ok. Some complaints is their Cottage cheese is gritty, and I got frozen Manicotti. that was obviously spoiled once. However, The main complaint is on most of the employees and rules. I'm disabled and this is the closest store to walk to since I'm limited transportation. Most of the employees seems to judge you on what you buy. I the other day overheard an employer openly ridiculing & laughing at me on my way out. I'm nothing but nice to these people and feel I don't deserve this treatment. Heck, I had even collected carts at times for them. So, I'm beyond nice and treated as a joke. As for the rules 'I see why' but find it sexist how woman can carry purses no matter how big and bulky but there's a no backpack rule, and at times a have a small bag on wheels to help heavier items I was told I had to leave it in front of the store while in the store. I have no problem over this until someone took some other personal belongings and I overheard the employees flat out say "we're not babysitting peoples things" PLUS, How can you have a no backpack rule BUT sell backpacks during the back-to-school season?

This place needs to be held accountable for the way they treat their employees. It's no secret that working at a place called "save a lot" pays barely more than minimum wage, but the owner of this store, Thad, is just a complete and utter actual jerk. Upon being given a two weeks notice, all of which was worked to scheduled completion, attempted to completely withhold that last paycheck from a past employee of well over a year. Let me reiterate that this was FULLY WORKED, and he was still disrespectful even though the former employee was unnecessarily polite when they had to come into the store a week after their two weeks ended to actually try to get their paycheck. Not to mention this is literally illegal, but incredibly rude and shady. Upon telling my friend they would get their overdue check in a week (his words were "I usually wouldn't pay you but I don't feel like fighting today"), they were told they were on the 'do not hire' list now (i'm sure my friend will really miss that $10 an hour) despite being disrespected for the past year, scheduled when they clearly told the company they were unavailable and way more than I can explain here, including being stalked by another employee that took the company way too long to deal with.
