Please inspect building 8371! The building gives off a putrefaction smell…and there’s flies everywhere. It’s not a typical smell at all!! It’s probable that someone passed away and it’s being kept on the low. The smell just worsens each day. Please give it a through cleaning as us residents living there can become sick. I wanted to have guests come over for the holiday but I won’t be able to now due to it. Please be more responsible with your buildings.

Had a great experience with the office staff this morning! Can't wait to get the inspection done for housing so we can finally move in. When she called me to tell me the good news I freaked out and then happy tears!!! After being in a hotel setting for almost just under a yr it'll be so good to finally call somewhere home, and I can stay with my job!!

So far this is a great place to live no complaints after almost a month living here. The management team was extremely professional and friendly. The property is well kept inside and out. Most of the residents seem well-mannered quiet and friendly. Definitely would recommend checking them out.

This place has gone down since they have a new landlord.. She has a nasty disposition and rude is being polite.. I recently moved someone out of there and I owning my own cleaning service and have done many clean-out apartments the only thing they had to do was paint and mop the floors.. there was no trash or anything she is trying to keep the deposit as if tenant responsible for them having to paint and mop..my friend lived there 6yrs and when I say that apartment was left in very good condition.. Anyone thinking of moving there think again.. the landlord I feel is trying to steal money from good people.. Also tenant should have had a paint job within her 6yrs renting... All the apartments are re-hiring landlords that have been fired from other complex apartments.. The mold in the apartments are bad in the bathroom underneath the tile in the tubs under kitchen sinks.. All they do is touch up paint over the mold..Steer clear of this complex...Also don't believe the office review answer we've spoken to no one other than the Rude landlord.. Also they are not taking section 8 vouchers anymore and they are going to move them all out but not until they made money.. move out soon as possible they are keeping you there so their apartments aren't empty but if we all stick together they will not win and cooperate will see they hired an incompetent landlord who only line her pockets with tenants money.. All you have ro do is research on the newest landlord and you will find out she is as much crooked as any white collar thief... leave section 8 leave or you will be put out within the year.. do not keep allowing them to use you qnd your income to upgrade their property for the new community.. ask around to your neighbors.. don't be afraid.. everyone has a different management story.. you will be forced to move once they complete their users of your funds...move move move now.. that pool hasn't been used in years and it won't be until your money pay for the new non section 8 renters..move move move

These apartments are really nice. I’m looking to move later this spring and stopped in this week. The grounds are nice and well kept, the apartments are a great value and the location is close to the highway, shopping and restaurants. The leasing team seemed really nice.

I've been looking for an apartment. I'm moderately picky meaning my ideal apartment is about 900ish w/DW, W/D hookups or in unit appliance, preferably no carpet, 2bd minimum or comparable, pool, gym, basement access, patio/balcony, and 2nd floor less. That said, I know I can't have all of that at a price I can afford AND live in a nice clean & quite, no drama area. So I'm willing to compromise.I've read the reviews with a grain of salt. Yet there were soooo many bad reviews, I had to see for myself. So went for a drive...I drove through the parking lot. I observed the environment and the community that is the apartment complex. I did not speak to management I did speak to some of the residents as to how they liked living there and if they'd had issues as such mention in the reviews or complaints of their own. No one specified a reason other than to say I should believe the reviews and rent with caution/at my own risk.As far as I could tell the reviews are pretty much accurate. After speaking with residents and rereading the reviews, I am no longer considering this as a rental option.

One star due to the pool. it’s not open this year again.. Who knows why… The pool was filled up I think right after Labor Day., but no one has cleaned, treated , or maintained the water.to get it ready to swim in. The water is currently green cloudy and dirty. I don’t get it. It wasn’t opened last year either because they put a new deck around it. So don’t expect to be able to swim if you choose to rent here. I don’t have any questions and I don’t need to discuss this issue with anyone.Other than that I like it here.. It just sucks not being able ti swim in the pool we have here.

I've been here for over 5 years.Maintenance is right on, grounds are well kept.Management allows around 200 lower income and social security dwellings.I have seen some residents with behavioral issues but 99% this apartment is well kept and neighbors watch out for each other.

Been living back here for almost 5 years now, with minimal issues until this past year, and now I feel the need to express my complaints. Last year the pool was closed due to covid. Fine, I get it. Rent went up, why? Idk? Pool still closed summer 2021, for what reason!? Because they don’t have a “license” to open?? You had a WHOLE YEAR to get that worked out. Amenities are listed as, washer dryer hookup, AC, pool, playground, dishwasher, oven/stovetop, when my dishwasher goes out, it gets fixed, when my stove stopped working it gets fixed, why is the pool any different? I pay for AMENITIES, so this is my pool amenity complaint. And please don’t give the number for the office because they do nothing about it. This is just to let future residents know, there is no pool here,

I really like Lyons Gate, it's affordable, looks clean and is quiet about 99% of the time. The playground and pool both look nice. Wish they didn't cut my privacy bushes so small, and the fences are missing some planks but if not for that I'd give it a 5 star.
