if i could rate 0 stars i would, don’t send your kid here if you can’t afford to miss work. They call twice a week to come pick your kids up before noon because the staff is extremely under trained with handling children. The “stand in” director is rude. Teachers are mean to kids. My son comes home every day telling me about him getting hurt by another kid but I was never made aware. Worst daycare in the area.

Extremely incompetent staff, would rather call to have child picked up than try to calm them down, do not send child here if you are not able to up and leave work during the day when they give up on your child. Obviously underpaid employees who don’t really care.

child care is hard thing 2 work n. i imagine workin w all them kids all daaay long. man its tough!!! my experience @ the school been good. its beter now than it was n my kids have good time. my family is title 20 family and most families their i kno r title 20 familes 2. i always tel my kids 2 leave there drama athome may be oter people shuld 2.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. i unenrolled my daughter after i came to pick her up & she was locked in the bathroom by herself, crying. The director looked at cameras & said she was in there for approximately 4 minutes. my daughter is 2 years old. So not only were they not making sure she wiped or washed her hands, she was locked in there where she could have got into cleaning products, etc. In the event of an emergency, im sure they would have forgot she was there. I cannot believe the neglect my baby received from this place. Then when i came to pick up my daughters things they had lost her clothes i had brought & were letting another child use my daughters blanket. That could spread lice, bed bugs, illness or diseases. Then the teacher who got wrote up for neglecting my child told another parent i ripped the blanket off the child & made her cry. Causing that child’s parent to reach out to me & cause so much drama. I would never ever do something like that to anyone’s child. When i called to complain the Administrator Mr. Dave told me since my child is no longer enrolled, he doesn’t owe me a conversation & repeated “i handled it.” This facility is so unprofessional & unsafe.

My daughter loves this school the ladies work hard and keep me updated I know how hard it can be with staffing issues ever since covid everywhere is struggling to keep ahold of staff but management works hard to keep me and my family updated through the whole day including any incident reports since we all know how rough 2 year olds can get. My daughter can be very independent and give them a hard time but she loves this school and doesn’t even want to leave when it’s pick up time? these ladies work so hard to make it an amazing place for our kids

would rate 0 stars if I could. the management makes empty promises to keep my kid safe. my child comes home with a bite or marks on his face, throat, neck area everyday. I've complained 3 times. they don't open on time, which makes me late to work. understaffed they are always out of ratio of teachers to kids specifically in toddlers and twos rooms. my child is being bullied by other kids and pushed around physically by the teachers. teachers have their own children in the room. hold their own child and push and shove everyone else away from them. this business is a waste of space and money. they charge 343 a week for to bully 2 year Olds all day. absolutely unacceptable.

If I had the time I would have a successful lawsuit . Literally witnessed one of the teachers putting their hands on my daughter . One of the teachers quit and told me they didn’t want any kids that received the title 20 assistance there. The directors will side with them from a desk, for any wrong doing on their behalf . If my daughter would have been physically impacted by the teachers aggression this would have been a messy situation. The other la petites in the Dayton Ohio area are nowhere near like this one . My daughter was 2 at the time . If they would put their hands on a 2 year old imagine what they would do to the other younger children. Seeing the response from la petite under these reviews makes me want to vomit .

My wife and I walked in for a tour. We have two little ones and while we were waiting in the lobby we overheard one of the workers yelling at the kids saying “knock it off, what are you a baby, knock it off” in a condescending tone. My wife and I immediately turned around and walked out, so beware before sending your child to this location. I know I would not tolerate my child being spoken to in that way. Also, we walked up and were immediately let in the building while a worker was taking trash out, no questions asked, so building security seems questionable.

It was very hard to communicate with them , i had part time hours for my son due to my job and they wanted me to pick up my son before 11:00 am because part time kids dont get to stay till naps !!!! Doesn’t make sense. And he was 2 year old and already potty trained and they wanted him yo wear pull ups just because there is kids in his class that are not potty trained!!!! So happy that I have him in a different location where he can stay till 3:30 and they were so happy to help him use the potty !

I worked here and I suggest you take your children to any other La Petite but this one. Management is very unprofessional, rude, and talks behind parents and teachers backs, as well as speaking poorly about the children. Some teachers are amazing but most are awful. You get to watch a live stream which is a plus, but any child would deserve to be somewhere else than here. Hopefully the new director can turn the place around and find better staff and management.

The daycare is overall very unprofessional. The Pre school teacher Paige Schnuth tries to sleep with the children’s parents and when it is brought to the administrators they act like it wasn’t a big deal. They removed my child from her class and put her in the Pre K classroom just to put Paige in the Pre K classroom after that teacher quit, knowing the situation. My child had a fever is 101 and had a fever rash and I was never even notified that she was sick or had a fever. Considering we are in a pandemic it is actually scary and alarming that they don’t do temperature checks or care when the children are sick.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would!! Had to press charges on a teacher for assaulting my two year old son. They hire anyone off the street as a "teacher." I am reporting this center to the state of Ohio for further investigation. Take your child anywhere but here. What a nightmare.
