I had an employee use racist behavior towards me twice and when I reached out to corporate on this they never even responded. Finally, I was able to get a hold of the store manager who was rude and said I wasn't letting her do her job rather than showing empathy for the situation. It's disgusting and unkept at this location too with food items all over the place. They should be investigated also for health and safety violations.This place is absolute trash and one of the most racist companies ever. They lost a customer for good today.

This is one of the new Dollar Trees. It's super clean & well kept store. And one of Safest Locations I've seen in Dayton. I'm a loyal Fan of Dollar Tree.

I was looking for a few things @ one particular Dollar Tree and they had a few things I needed, but when I got to the Check-Out my Card would not going through. So I went up the Road a bit and went to another Dollar Tree that not only had the things I was going to get, but they also had the rest of the things that I was looking for and my Card went through fine there. @ the first Dollar Tree that I went to, they wasn't for sure how to set the Register so I could manually put my Numbers in. But it was Ok, I wasn't mad or anything although they were saying they were sorry and more bothered by the situation than I was, Lol ?. They're nice Workers there.

I was at this store recently. The associate by the name of Nina has been unprofessional on multiple times calling me by the name of Osama. I advised the associate about a week prior that is not my name please do not call me that. When I came back on the 15th she repeated the same behavior which is unacceptable. I tried explaining this to the manager to let them know to advise the associates not to assume people's culture backgrounds or names and she proceeded to become hostile and tell me not to do her job. Unprofessional racist associates and horrible managers at this location. On top of this I have filed three complaints with corporate who have not responded or reached out to apologize. I am considering options to reach out locally due to the incident and they have honestly lost a customer for life due to their unprofessionalism. Start taking accountability as a company and take customer complaints seriously.

This store had a great selection of holiday decorations and found air of great deals! The plus selection didn’t disappoint! Only leaving two star due to the poor service I received checking out! You can tell the old lady working there hates her job as I seen her throwing the customers item’s after ringing them up! She seemed extremely frustrated the lady had so many items! Aside from her awful attitude the other staff members stocking were pleasant!

This basically applies to the entire local chain of Dollar Tree stores. Prices at mostly $1.25 plus Ohio taxes. That is a real reason to shop there. The real problem I see is dependability. I have pets. The cheap items such as plastic small litter boxes may or may not be in stock at any given time. That is a dependability issue. When questioned staff has no clue as to when any given item may be put back in their inventory. It all comes from above at a corporate level. At the base price of a $1.25 it is real easy to spend too much money. I know I have done so on several occasions. The lack of inventory can go on for several months on any given item. Recently the local stores shifted product inventory all over the store. This is a marketing technique to get people to have to search for what they want. If you look, there will be items you did not think to buy. Many companies use the same technique. It is not new. Finding an item you buy regularly may or may not be in the new arranged shelves in the store. The other issue is lines to cash out at the register or registers. The stores are a fire hazard due to lines to check out. The turn over in help to stock the store? The issue here is stock backed up in the store room in the back. Again micro managing a high turn over stock is really a very wrong move. Especially if it is done by corporate remotely from somewhere else. My main complaint is lack of inventory of items that should be available every week of the year. None of which is the fault of managers at the local level. Show some responsibility at corporate levels and let local management do the job they need to do to keep the store functional.

Typical dollar store, but exceptional employee was really helpful. Hook me up with a helium filled balloon for my granddaughter. She was super nice considerate, very helpful and ended up giving it to me for free because they did not have the balloon that I actually wanted Great after Halloween deals on a few things I saw outside on the patio

The Dollar Tree store is beautiful and very much so supplied with the things that I needed. The person at the register puts a dark light on the store she's negative acting, nasty, and talks to the customer as if they were of no concern. She doesn't smile she looks grumpy, ask grumpy. We took some plates back into the store and her response was as negative as they come and she said it allowed tone what for so however she said it. She act as if people are spending her pocket of money. No need to worry about me going back into that store it will not happen thank you very much if she's at the register I will see. I bought several items there, we're having a bash on Saturday and they are things that I truly need it so I am not happy with the treatment. They need to get rid of hers she's a mess and a hot one that's it that's it
