“I recently had an issue with my Honda Accord. Called several Dayton area stealerships and got different quotes ($250 range in estimates) for the same job. Decided to look around for a trusted independent shop and came across Acu-Hon Specialties. After reading the excellent reviews, I gave them a call. I was given a more reasonable estimate and the assurance I needed that the job would be done well. I am very picky about who works on my vehicles and I was super impressed with everything about this shop. The owner/operator does all of the work by himself. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest. For anyone looking to have work done on their Honda/Acura, I would definitely recommend this shop. You may have to wait a bit to get in, but it is worth it.”

“Took a vehicle in that had already been diagnosed with a strut issue and was making a clicking noise when i accelerated and stopped.These guys not only found that the strut was ok but found out that a control arm bushing and bolt were not tightened from a previous (not at Kiddles) repair. Cost was 20% of what I anticipated when I took it in. These guys don't seem like they just swap out parts. Very appreciative of their work and honesty.”

“Dana fixed my beautiful 2000 Cadillac deville when I thought there was no hope.Dana installed sure grip studs in my Northstar and replaced the head gaskets and all the timing chains tensioners and guides.I have nothing but good things to say,it looks as if it was never removed from the vehicle and was re installed with exceptional detail.I highly recommend Dana for his honesty and detail to his quality of work.I work in automotive and would highly recommend him for auto repair and will be putting his name out to everyone I know.thank you again Dana for a job well done.”
“The buying and selling process was fine but I did not like that I could not use my bank for the financing. I understand the dealers position regarding past issues and risk but they need to put a process in place that allows the buyer more flexibility for financing. My bank had a lower interest rate plus my bank did not charge a $295 processing fee which it what the provided bank charged me. That said, I would still recommend this dealer as they were willing to make a deal work and they treated my wife and I very courteously and were willing to listen to our needs and made an effort to make sure we were satisfied. Tony the salesperson was very cordial and cared about our business.”

They had a tow truck out quickly, took care of all the paperwork with the insurance company and was able to make schedule (even with all the supply chain issues). I can’t say enough of the fantastic job they did! My Mazda CX-9 had a huge gash down the driver’s side after making contact with a blade on the back of a tractor. My Mazda looks so good. “This was my 1st oil change at Pep Boys. I thought that I would be getting a Pennzoil gift card, but now that I think about it, I guess the reason I didn't is because I used a $10 off coupon. Or does the gift card just come later?
Other than that, I have no complaints. The waiting area is comfortable. The wait time wasn't excessive. I assume that, since I scheduled on Friday night for a Saturday afternoon appointment, that's why I had to wait for the filter to arrive. Next time I'll plan ahead and hopefully my wait will be even shorter!”
