I was skeptical to get my labs done here after reading the reviews of the staff being rude. I am TERRIFIED of getting bloodwork done, so I need a friendly face to help me through! ! My lady was fast , painless and really nice/sweet as she knew I was so scared of needles and blood. I’m thankful for her! I’d go back when I have to

Last week I went in to get my bloodwork drawn that my OB ordered, and from the moment I stepped up to the window I was talked to with rudeness and given a few dirty looks from the front desk ladies. Also, I stood there for about 2 minutes before they even acknowledged me. When they finally asked me what I was there for I responded with the order I had from my OB and tried to give them the paper for it. Again gave me a dirty look and instantly responded that I needed to grab a mask before they could help me any further. I did that with no problem. After I put it on they finally took my paper and responded “well it’s gonna be awhile so you can just wait over there til we’re ready” with attitude. I didn’t mind since I knew I just walked in but I just didn’t care for the attitude I received when I was nothing but polite. I waited about 5 minutes and they called me back. The lady barely sterilized my arm before jabbing me. Being in the vet field and knowing how to draw on animals, it upset me that she had no care in my well being? once she stuck me, she suddenly had a change of heart and started to create conversation. She was really nice after that, but it did not make up for all what I experienced. I am also a receptionist at my vet job and I could never treat people like that right off the bat, but I guess you can’t control people’s personalities.It’s now been a week and somehow my bloodwork is lost. Very upset. 7 tubes of blood taken, and if it’s not found I will have to redo all over again ?

I stood & waited for maybe 1 minute. The woman who approached the front to take my information was very unpleasant. All she did was ask me to speak up but she yelled it and said it in such a condescending way that I almost wanted to leave. It was more appalling because her tone changed when I heard her speaking with other patients. She came off as very aggressive and agitated. I can understand why she would be frustrated. I'm sure she does this all day and needs to hear what I'm saying. However, the way she demanded was unnecessary.Regardless, still at least four stars for me because Don B. (5 star medical staff) has to be the most kind human I've encountered during such an unpleasant experience. He took my blood, he reassured me, he kept my mind off of the fact that he was drawing blood lol. Six vials later and I'm putting on my jacket and feeling way better walking out than I did when I walked in which kudos to you Don. I'm sure the other staff work just as hard. realistically I didn't interact with anybody but him and the other lady. And that's it. I hope I never need blood drawn again but when I inevitably do, this will be where I go.

I’ve tried to come here twice this month to get lab work done and both time I was met with rude people right from the start. The first time I was told that my lab work wasn’t in the system and there was nothing they could do for me. But when I called my UH doctor they were 100% in the system. The second time I walked up to the window and before I even said a word the nurse came to the window shaking her head and rolling her eyes. Then again for whatever reason could not do my lab work. I use to come here all the time because they were nice and quick and close to home. Never again. I can handle lots of things but being rude to someone right from the jump is unacceptable. If you don’t like people then maybe this job isn’t for you.

We had to have labs done for my 6 year old autistic daughter. It was obviously a terrible situation but the staff was very professional and most important quick. They made it asg as it could possibly be. If labs are needed again we know exactly where we are going. Thanks
