My brakes went out so I slowly drove to the shop. They quickly got me going and went above and beyond to make sure it was done right, and in the 4 years I've had my car the brakes have never felt better! Thank you!!

I would not pay any attention to the guys comment or bad review below. If he felt something was wrong when he purchased the car he should have contacted them immediately and they would have resolved the issue. Brad and his family have a wonderful business and I would recommend them to anyone. They are very well trained and through with their work and give explanations for everything they do. If you wanted to watch them do the work they would even allow it. I would have to say they are the most honest people I know in the business and are fair with their pricing. I give them an A+

Stoney Creek Automotive's reputation is not what it's cracked up to be. I bought a used car from them, and they lied about the car's actual condition. They used their son, Brad, as a front to sell the car. He told me the car had no rust, and that the timing belt and water pump had been replaced. Of course, Brad wasn't there when I went to look at the car. They did put the car up on the lift and let me inspect it. However, after returning home with the car I noticed that they had concealed many rust spots and problem areas with a Maaco style paint job. There were areas where the rust had perforated through the metal. They also globbed bondo all over the place near the rear mud guard and inside the spare tire well. They stuck a piece of cardboard over the bondo in the spare tire well which was saturated with moisture. This only worsened the problem as it caused another rust spot to form and perforate through the metal in another area. I took the car to my local mechanic and had them go through the car. The timing belt looked like it hadn't been changed in a very long time, and the water pump hadn't been done either. They also globbed some kind of cement on all the holes to conceal the leaks in the exhaust system. The air filter was very dirty, the oil was black, and the transmission fluid was even blacker than the engine oil. If I hadn't changed the transmission oil in time, I probably would have suffered major transmission damage. One would think being mechanics they would have at least changed the oil and transmission fluid for the buyer. These people are nothing but sleazy, dishonest crooks. Do not buy a used car from them!!! Also, I would not trust them to fix something beyond the complexity of a rubber band. Furthermore, I would ignore the new comment from L C that supports their business. The reviewer is most likely a crony, friend or relative posting a misleading statement to deflect my comment and deceive reviewers from the truth via feedback manipulation. This is a common strategy that dishonest businesses use on the internet to boost their review score. Stoney Creek Automotive is 100% dishonest and fully intended to deceive me when they were not up front with the rust issues, mechanical issues, or bondo work. If they were honest, they would have mentioned the issues when I went to look at the car.

I would recommend this place to anyone! I took my last car here for 6 years. I recently wanted to purchase a new (used) car and Brad and John took a look at it for me to make sure it was in good shape and the dealers weren't hiding anything from me. Now 7 months later, I'm back for my routine oil change. John and Brad always go over the work they do in detail and won't BS you. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Good job Stoneycreek!
