I love love love this thrift store it's my absolute favorite. The prices are fantastic and they always have discounted tags so I always find sp much I want and need . The new tag of the week which aren't discounted are reasonably priced....so I never hesitate to pick up that color and there's always great stuff with the discounted tag I can go in there with $50 and leave with alot of great items. This store is why I love thrifting. They always have fresh stock never see the same stuff on the shelves they know how to keep the flow of merchandise closing in and out their store. The store is always clean and customer friendly clothes racked by category, size and color ....so if you need black pants like I did recently for work you can go the the racks find your size and the black is all hung together ....I found exactly what i needed and more. Sad to see Lisa retiring , she was always a delight to see wish her nothing but the best , you'll be missed!!

Went here today and looked at two bags I liked and neither had prices I want to ask if someone could price them for me and of course they don’t do that the guys in the back do and they said they wont do that now. Keep walking around the store pick up a golf club I like guess what that one also doesn’t have a price. Pretty frustrating shopping experience when nothing you like is for sale ://

Do NOT come here. Under any circumstances. Half the items are marked WRONG, and you bring it to the cashier, and she argues with you about the price. One of the managers, LISA, is actually the worst retail customer service worker I’ve encountered. Had a bunch of scarves CLEARLY MARKED with a price tag .99. I bring them to the cashier, and she argues and catches an attitude with me. She says “You’re telling me I don’t know how to do my job?” Actually yes, clearly you don’t. Prove that clearly cats .99. She tried to tell me they were 3.99 each. The black lady with the piercings should be fired, and so should Lisa. Don’t waste your money here. -THE SCARF LADY :)

I'm local to Mentor. I rarely go to this store as what they do have for my reselling isnt generally what I sell. I deal mostly in media.Bought a PC game - they tape their disc media up with tape that will hold the space shuttle together, then give you a dirty look when you remove it to inspect the disc.I got the game home, opened it and it was scratched WAY WAY WAY beyond any repair. I went back to the store and talked to a manager (Lisa?). She gave me nothing but attitude, stating: "You can check the discs... we tell all the customers to." I responded: "This tape is stronger than carbon fiber. Aside, you should have never put an item that is $3 out for sale that is so scratched."She responded: "We dont check items thoroughly." I replied, as I pointed a dress that had red stains on it, "you mean just like you didnt check to see if this dress has blood on it."Refused to refund me $3. Havent been back since.As a reseller, I shared the experience in local reseller (ebay and the like) groups to NOT GO TO MENTOR Salvation Army.

The lady working the donations was extremely rude, gave unclear directions, and when queried, yelled and rolled her eyes. I feel for her pain, and also, don't need to deal with that again.

To respond to Bob Aquatics post...The women who was crying hysterically just found out (by a text) that her Grandmother had passed away unexpectedly. As for the pink bat..that is attached to our bathroom key.

Within 5 minutes of being in there, I found a random white pill sitting on the shelf. It took several minutes for any clerk to care. My Granddaughter went searching for someone to remove it! Any child could have put that in their mouth! I totally expected a more urgent response. Not acceptable!

If your looking for adult clothes, this is the place for you...tons if clothes. Boys clothes selection was not good. I was looking for shorts and hoodies for my 11 & 12 year old grandsons. There were none. Good shoe selection but they were organized by color not size so that was a pain in the butt. Store is dirty and run down. Good location and good prices.

Stopped in yesterday hoping to find 2 folding chairs for the Mentor concert. Along with finding 2 we also found an amazing golf bag w/clubs priced at the .99c discount.(only missing 2 clubs from set) Kyle was extremely helpful even to the point of checking out to assure there were no mistakes. Our cashier was kind and polite as well~ even at closing time. Thx ya~all!!
