Updated Hiesley Racquet Club facility. Has a modern clean look with lots of equipment. Can be busy at peak times but never crowded.Management is still learning and making bad decisions. Policies change frequently and are confusing to members and staff.Starting to see wear and tear on equipment from heavy use. Hopefully they keep up with repairs / replacement as well as general cleaning. So far it's good, summer will be the test.

In my opinion, a successful business relies heavily on good communication. There is definitely some less than friendly energy surrounding the front desk. Very bizarre and unfortunate.

I've trained in many gyms for many years, and I've worked in them as well.Although this facility does have some really nice equipment, there are a few individuals (whose job it is to greet you at the front desk) that FAIL. In fact, so much so that although I liked the gym, I chose not to join for that simple fact. My goodness, it's not hard to kindly acknowledge the very people that keep you in business. Sad, really.

Great gym/rec center...especially for the value. Formally the Heisley Racquet Club...it has all the racquet sports including tennis, pickleball and racquetball. There is also 2 basketball courts, indoor soccer, indoor/outdoor pools, hot tub, steam room, sauna, big locker rooms and a large gym. There is even a golf simulator. For everything they have, the price is great. You can also do $10 day pass.If you are planning on using the lockeoom...you need to bring everything. There is no towels or soaps or anything. They have basketballs, tennis racquets and things to rent for free if you need it.

Very nice after the remodel. Everything is so nice and new, and works well. There's a lot of people that go but not so many that there's any challenge to get where you're going. Good fitness classes, nice equipment, friendly staff. The parking lot is large and there's plenty of parking. Class drop in price is $10 and membership is also available. Overall satisfied with my experiences there.

We rented community room for kids party with pool time. Very clean and helpful staff with lifeguard on duty and pool toys/ floats . Only complaint is the time 2 hours for setup, party, cleanup and pool was crazy ? but we had family help thank goodness. All enjoyed their time just would like a bigger window ...

The place is definitely nicer than before, but with a few exceptions. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are quite small. The whirlpool area doesn't look redone at all, there is paint chipping into the water. And lets not mention all the water damage on the ceiling in there... I also seem to find children in the whirlpool a lot and I was under the impression it was for adults only. The gym area is nice, I do like the openness. However, this place is packed after 4 PM every single weekday. You can barely workout as there is SO MANY people there. With barely any duplicate machines, its so hard to actually stick to your routine. I find myself going out of place constantly because the gym is so filled. For 350$ UP FRONT, I feel like there should be multiples of each machine. The only time I have been to this place and it wasn't packed was 4:30 PM on a Sunday, they close at 6. Hopefully this place dies down soon or I most likely wont be renewing my membership. They tried with the remodel but a lot more definitely could have been done / updated.

I am going to put the coin together and join this amazing recreation center in Mentor. So much more than a workout. Full size pool, golf driving simulator, pickle ball courts, basketball court. Great hours so everyone can enjoy. What else could you want.

I've only been back for the tennis. I guess they're trying to accommodate tennis on the tennis courts, giving priority to tennis players because there are plenty of dedicated pickle ball courts. So far, my experiences have been good.

SENIORS be aware you may get overcharged and treated like it’s a private gym for profit. No cancelation policy either. Quick to run your credit card. My mistake was thinking I would be treated better.
