Be Warned.
Took our reptile here to a woman that advertised herself as a “specialist”. Had to confront her about walking away with our animal trying to perform several invasive tests without even asking our permission. We were advised that our Ducky was in an emergency situation and eggbound and the vet wanted to surgically remove her ovaries, a procedure that has a good chance of killing her. We were advised that if she did not lay the eggs within a week she needed this surgery immediately or she would die. 5 weeks later she laid her first clutch.
I’ve spoke with numerous vets and vet techs about our experience and was advised this was both extremely unprofessional and unethical. I would suggest not taking your animals here as at least the woman that we worked with just looked at our animal as a payday and was willing to cause her harm to get cash.

We've been taking our dogs here for many many years. Very happy with both vets. Reasonable prices and nice staff. Highly recommend! ?

201x. We left our old vet, not because of the Dr, but the staff wasn’t that great. We started coming here and this place had great staff and a great Dr too.

Mentor Animal Hospital is by far the best. I have used their services for years.They are so kind and compassionate, I will never go any where else. I recently had to send my little wiggle butt fur baby over the rainbow bridge and I can't thank them enough for their patience with me and their kindness to my baby.

We brought our old man Rabbit in here as he had an eye ulcer. We had taken him to another pet hospital that gave us the run around and treatment that did not work. Dr. McLaren was able to treat him and get him the help he needed at an affordable price. We have a healthy happy bunny now. Thank you so much!
