This review specifically is related to Menards Criterion washer, which if you buy, realize has no parts or service support which makes it a throwaway if it breaks!!! I had two appliance technicians try to fix and couldn't find parts support.
I spent a week online trying to just find someone to service and Menards couldn't recommend a service company. They could only tell me it isn't covered as a return (which I already knew!). I really like many things about Menards but stay away from Criterion appliances!

Rented a pickup truck and was treated unfairly. The $18.95 advertised rental ballooned to $42 this past Saturday. $5.00 Saturday surcharge, plus $6 out of pocket for gas because the truck had less than an 1/8 of a tank when they handed me the keys. Then charged for two $6 overtimes. I wasted the first 20 minutes of my rental on your property driving around to the back to pick up my 10 bales of peat moss.
Had to park the truck and wander around inside to find the peat moss but there were only 6 bales on the pallet and of course no one around to help. Wandered around inside for another 10 minutes, finally found someone with a radio, then had to wait for a tow motor, then explain what I needed, then load the truck. So I blew the first 20 minutes of my rental on your property because there was no help to be found. How about not starting the rental clock until the truck is off your property? And how do I get reimbursed for my gas money and the charge for the overtime I wasted before I even got on the road?

Terrible service...been standing here 20 minutes to pick up my last cabinet....will just buy at home depot from now on....now 30 minutes....will never be back

Absolutely terrible employees that will just damage your vehicle and make you feel like you're an asshole for not moving something heavy that you can't lift. They have people that are supposed to do that job, right? Isn't that grounds for suing due to injury on company property? Yeah I think so.

We were pleasantly surprised that the item we were looking for was more than 50% less than across the street at another DIY store. We looked at Menards, then went across the street and were shocked! Back to Menards we went! Had to purchase 10 pieces at $5.99. Store was cleaner AND employees were working stocking and helping customers! Across the street, employees were non existent and looking for help was like a game of hide and seek.....
