Lots of interesting food choices, way more than any other supermarket. Biggest cheese selection I have ever seen anywhere. Lots of ready to eat food too. Very clean and friendly. One down point. Bought some blue cheese potato pancakes and they had no flavor of blue cheese. Actually not much taste at all.

Before the pandemic hit Heinen's had by far the best salad bar offering a varied selection of toppings and delicious salad dressings. Then due to Covid all self serve salad bars were closed down. Recently I went into Heinen's and found that their salad bar was in full operation so I decided to get myself a nice salad for lunch. Must say I was disappointed with the selection (some of my favorite items were no longer there), some items weren't very fresh and they no longer offered the bottled selection of salad dressings. They had cups or pouches that you could purchase.
Bottom line - now you get less but pay more

I love Heinen's ! The quality of food is superb. Always extra things you don't find anywhere else. Very mindful of healthy foods for the whole family The service is impeccable. Always a smile from every employee. If you need to find something they will stop what they're doing and guide you to where your item is at. Love the flower department. So refreshing as you walk in. And of course the little things rubber bands on my blueberries and my eggs! I absolutely love the deli! It is so handy when you work all day and can get a healthy meal on your way home. The prices are competitive. And the weekly specials really help stretch the budget. Thank you for being there for all of us!

After eating their garlic grilled shrimp, my husband was hospitalized with food poisoning. When I contacted the store about this, the response received was complete silence. No follow up, no phone call, no communication whatsoever. I guess they're hoping by ignoring the situation, it will go away. Needless to say we will not step foot into a Heinen's ever again and have turned to Whole Foods for our shopping needs.

Heinens is heinens however I'd have to rate the stores in chagrin falls, Chardon and Mayfield as superior if you have the time.

The best grocery chain. Always terrific choices and hand made deli dishes. Some of my favorite sections are the great cheese selection, fresh baked items, fresh fish and butcher counters and wines and beers to satisfy anyone. The Heinens associates in Mentor are top notch also.
