8720 Mentor Ave, Mentor“This place is Mentor's hidden gem! This is one of those places that doesn't need to be fancy they just make good food.Their Pastrami Tsunami is my absolute favorite! I pass this place and can almost taste their Pastrami Tsunami. It is literally the best sandwich I have ever had in my life and I've been around a while so I have many sandwiches under my belt. (Literally) fresh baked bread, outstanding Pastrami, provolone cheese and a sweet coleslaw. Honestly, I'm not one who likes coleslaw but this sandwich makes it taste like heaven. The flavors and products you can get here are all top notch. Their stuffed peppers, Stromboli, pizza, and Italian beef are all some of our other favorites. The atmosphere gets 4 stars because they interior could use an update and all of their products are kind of spread out in a wonky way. You can buy fresh made pasta and breads if you go towards the dining room. The walls are lined with coolers and racks of authentic and house made products you can buy and make your kitchen a little Italy. I would love to see them expanse their menu to dinner entrees because they would be the best in town.”
9AM - 4PM
7885 Mentor Ave, Mentor“Aldi is always a great stop. It is a sister store to Trader Joe's. Aldi carries a great variety of foods, fresh produce and merchandise for your home. Great wine selection too! All reasonably priced! ?✅”
“Lots of interesting food choices, way more than any other supermarket. Biggest cheese selection I have ever seen anywhere. Lots of ready to eat food too. Very clean and friendly. One down point. Bought some blue cheese potato pancakes and they had no flavor of blue cheese. Actually not much taste at all.”
“One of the best customer service experience I have ever had. The young lady helped me as soon as I walked in, was very knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. Couldn't ask for a better experience/ product.”
“Top quality items in bulk. Prime rib in season is awesome! Prices have gone way up. Some good values here and there, but prices in general are higher than most grocery chains.”
“Great free standing family owned store. They still grind there own meat! That's so special! No hard gristle in the ground meat. Full juicy flavor. Prices are great. The only Pace I know where you can find Southern peaches. California peaches are horrible. By the time they get to Ohio they are merely and not even worth doing anything but putting it in a dehydrator. I don't even look at California peaches anymore because they are the most horrible fruit that comes all the way across the country and by the time it reaches our state they are less than standard. I only buy Southern peaches and I can only find them here at Mentor Family Foods. I love this little store it reminds me of when I was a little girl it still has that same personalized service and products that you won't find anywhere else”
“I believe the manager Coni is the best employee they have!! She's always helpful and gets people in and out of her line in a snap! No waiting around. I've been in stores where no one wants to be bothered..customer Service at its finest!”
“I had a great experience at this location. After at looking several different locations to find exactly what I was looking forward to update a guest bathroom… I fell short.Once I arrived at this Dollar General, an amazing person by the name of Rose was extremely helpful and there to assist. Rose was extremely friendly, and quickly made the most of my time. Rose actually cared enough to really help me instead of just pointing me in a direction like other places. Highly recommended location. Great store. Great people can’t say enough good things.”

8674 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor“If you're looking for essentials, you will find them here. If you're looking for variety, you may want to try another location. Definitely smaller than the other Giant Eagles and Meijer.”
“Had been around since I was a kid. I ABSOLUTELY loved going there as a kid. Unfortunately not the same. Half the size and a lot of expired food. Definitely nice though for some things.”
8AM - 10PM
9669 Mentor Ave, Mentor“Shoutout to Sharon for helping me out. I have a few groceries I needed to put in the fridge when I get back to my destination but I was stuck at target cause I didn't have a ride. Sharon was able to help me out and put some of the groceries I needed into a fridge temporarily until my ride showed up.”

7413 Center St, Mentor“I am so grateful for the opener, Tara. Not only was she already managing ((demanding)) customers at 5am, but when every other gas station from Highland Heights to Mentor was down, she had the pumps reset and pumping gas. She had such a positive attitude while under pressure and catering to so much at once. I appreciate her work ethic because it would have been too easy to just say “the pumps don’t work like everyone else’s” rather she was troubleshooting and just taking payments at the counter to guarantee best customer service practices. She had a smile on her face and was even humorous, lightening such a heavy mood after a horrible storm that wreaked this area. She deserves a raise. Cant train a positive attitude.”
7AM - 9PM
7353 Mentor Ave, Mentor“We love it. We moved to Southern Illinois 18 years ago and we don't have them here. Everytime we go up to see my Dad, you can count on a trip to Marc's is in the plan.”
“This store feels like some guy named Joe, that is an absolute legend, handcrafted every single thing in the store. This is like if aldis and Whole Foods had a cooler, less pretentious sibling. Cheaper, cleaner, better than most. Thanks to the amazingly fun and preppy staff for always helping and knowing where everything is. The best grocery there is. Drive from Ashtabula all the way to here for the experience and value.”
