I had a great experience yesterday. The Tuscan spa package was rejuvenating. Brittany did the massage and facial, and Gianna did the mani/pedi. They were both so nice. The spa area was beautiful and lunch was good. It was my first time there. I would definitely return.Services: Pedicure

Does anyone know the owner of Francescos Hair Salon in Mentor? Or how to get a hold of them? I had my hair done (roots) first time being there. The person who did my hair did a not so good job. My hair is the darkest of brown. I had my roots done. Told her my hair needs lots of warmth. She came and checked it 3 times. She said it was perfect and the brown was so rich and beautiful. With their lighting, it was hard to see. But she assured me it was perfect. Came home. My roots were like 4x lighter than my natural color. I called immediately. Told them of the situation. I took pics just for my record and to show her. It was all of my roots. I came in a week later (her soonest available), and she redid the roots. Used a darker color. And said it would cost me 15.00-20.00 more. I said, "What?" She didn't do it right the first time. She said I still had to pay for the product.. wth? No choice, I had her do it, I was going to not pay, but I felt I best pay, but I would contact the manager and / or owner. I had a meeting on Monday and needed it done. As I checked out, the receptionist asked if I'd like to add the tip on the card? I said, "No." I asked the receptionist if making the customer pay for the hair dressers mistake is common. She replied, "That's what the manager tells us to do." Is this a common practice that I have never heard of? I've been to many places in the past, and I have never heard of this or had this happen. So my 68.00 root color turned into 84.00 and then asked for an additional tip?

I would absolutely recommend this salon! Rachel is the best. I have been going to her for my hair for about 5 years now and she never disappoints. I trust her judgement! We have done all kinds of crazy things to my hair and she never hesitates to jump right in and make my hair look amazing! I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Rachel always gets me in when I need to and squeezes me in even when I know she is busy. She is such a great friend, too! Rachel would bend over backwards for those she cares about and I’m so lucky to have her as a friend and my hairstylist! If you’re looking for someone who will not only make your hair look amazing, but can make you feel like you have known each other forever, book with Rachel! You won’t be disappointed. I've had good experiences every time I've been here in the past but this time the hairdresser was not careful and got bleach on my brand new purse .. it's obviously ruined . I moved it away right away and she said that she wiped it off . well it bleached it . When I told the receptionist at the front what happened she said well " do you want to talk to the hairdresser because she might have a guilty conscience " I'm like what are your policies if you ruin someones purse ? and she had no idea what she was doing and couldn't comprehend anything . I went to pay and she could barely do that . I will never go back there . I didn't go there to get a $300 purse ruined and still she asked if I was going to tip after I got my purse ruined . unfortunately I did tip and I wish I didn't . would not recommend. did nothing to compensate. still paid full price and tipped for a partial that cost less than my purse .
