Quick and easy process to rent a car. Getting the car was easy even though they had to upgrade me and I was okay with that but the car they gave me was a gas guzzler. And the return process from Columbia South Carolina to Mentor Ohio was easy peasy. One thing I noticed they failed to tell me was it's a $300 deposit, nobody mentioned that. But luckily it comes off once the car is returned.

Everyone was very nice and willing to help. I'm very glad I went with Enterprise. Kyle picked me up from the shop and took me back to get my rental. A colleague of his checked me in, and I was back on the road within a half hour of him picking me up. Great place to do business with.

First, I travel frequently and generally use my National Emerald Club membership so that's the level of service I'm used to.For this rental at Enterprise, I did not use the Enterprise shuttle option but I've used it before and they get an A+ for that. The only issue is pickup is only available during their open hours starting at 8:00am so if you require an earlier pickup or rental, you'll have to pickup a day in advance.The reason this particular rental is only 3 stars is two-fold. First, I reserved a full-size vehicle and ended up with an intermediate because they didn't have any full-size vehicles available. This may be more of an Enterprise Corporate issue but come on, get it together. if the app lets you you reserve a particular class on a particular date, that's what you should receive. If that class is not available, Enterprise should automatically upgrade you to the next class. (more on that experience later)Secondly, when I did receive the intermediate car, it only had about 1/4 tank of fuel so I would need to immediately fill the tank. I don't quite understand that. When you check the vehicles in, fill the tank! The other issue with the rental is I couldn't get heat from the vents, only cold air. And this is Mentor, OH in January.I stopped into the office and mentioned the fuel and heat issues and I was simply told by the individual that originally checked me in that "That's our policy, we aren't required to provide a full tank of fuel". Pretty much, "that's the way it is... anything else?" Yet, you can give me a vehicle that is below the reserved class? Wow, just wow.I went back outside and was getting in the vehicle when a different person ran out and stopped me. He noticed my frustration and asked me to wait one minute while he pulled up an upgraded class vehicle that had a full tank (and working heat). I don't recall his name but he did the right thing.The final negative though, is this vehicle WREAKED of weed!!! How the heck does someone return the vehicle, you check them in and check over the vehicle, give someone their deposit back and the vehicle wreaks of weed? When I pulled up to my customer in Michigan, he asked me if I had a fun ride. It was very embarrassing at first but we luckily we laughed it off later. But I had to literally wash my hands at the customer site to get the smell off my hands from the steering wheel.So the net of this is, the customer service was not great at first, but exceptional in the end. However, as a store, they need to do better overall. And unless your nose completely isn't working... you KNOW you need to put an air freshener in that car! You can definitely tell Covid is gone as they didn't put any air fresheners or wipes in the car. This car really could of used it.As a side note, this is the second time I've reserved a class vehicle from this location and it wasn't available. Again, I don't know if that's a location issue or an app issue but they need to fix it.

Honda Pilot was on E. No wiper fluid in January. Car smelled like smoke. They did fill up the fluid the day after. Not exactly a clean car

We had to impromptu rent a car. We called numerous places to compare prices. When I called Enterprise they quoted me a very far price even before a military discount was added. I only had about 30mins to get there before they closed so I rushed there and got there in time. When I arrived whoever I spoke with on the phone never ended up sending over my information/reservation. The people at the counter just ended up making me another reservation but the price was about $200 more than the original quote. I mentioned it and they immediately fixed the issue without any doubt or question. I was shockingly surprised and appreciative. The way they handled the miscommunication and issue was very professional and accommodating. Their customer service is outstanding. We will absolutely go back!

The car is nice but the service took forever and when we finally got the car, this was the back cup holder. It looks like they didn’t even bother to clean it at all between rentals

Your 18 year old can die in a war for his country but can't rent a car from Enterprise Rent a Car. Your policy is aweful and will avoid using your company in the future.

Complete joke of a rental place. Zero communication , minimal options for rentals, staff can’t look up details on accounts, and they like to charge you 7 weeks after rental was returned. Thieves . Do not even think about Mentor Enterprise

Great experience! My insurance agent sent me to Enterprise after a tree demolished my car. The team there is incredible! Mike picked me up and Ryan and Abbey and Sean and Ben assisted me throughout the process, as I did come back a few days later to possibly swap out to another vehicle (as I had boxes to move out of my house). After looking at several other vehicles - trucks and small suv I stuck with my initial car. They were extremely patient and helpful. On the initial car pick up, there was only one car available in my price bracket and it was perfect, a nice zippy nissan that they cleaned and made it ready to go. The limited availability was due to the storm in the area that damaged quite a few cars. Upon my rental return, Sean was able to give me a lift back as well. Mentor Enterprise truly is top notch an a smooth seamless experience and everyone I dealt with was professional, kind, and knowledgeable with great attitudes.
