United employees are friendly and helpful. The TSA agents hustle, communicate and some are even friendly!

Omg I have not flown out of CLE in so long and I really hope to not have to again. Sadly, since CAK quit having Southwest I may be stuck here more often. While the airline staff itself is pleasant the employees elsewhere are are not. I finally understood rude TSA staff. They have way too many precheck lines if you ask me and those were all empty while the main security lines were way over crowded and no one was directing the people flow at all. I can only imagine how it has become now with the shutdown! Once we got through security we stopped for a bite of breakfast. It was ok. Staff was not pleasant. I could have gone without it and been ok. I really think I'll have to shop prices more and perhaps fly Pittsburgh because all in all it was just not a good experience.

We fly here maybe once a year when we visit my parents and don't feel like driving. It's very close to the Akron/Canton airport and prices from Charlotte are usually pretty similar, so it just depends what flight times look like. It's a nice airport. They have water bottle fillers at their water fountains which is nice. Their food court seems to be recently updated. It's pretty small and easy to get around. There is a different security checkpoint for TSA pre check which was close to the normal one. Lines at security are typically short. Overall, I don't really have any complaints about the airport. It's a good place to fly to/from.

We need an airline to call Hopkins home. So sad to see vacant terminal D. But there is a Superman Replica in baggage claim with a nice display showing the history. His character originated here sometime during the 1930's by writer Jerry Siegel from the Greenville area of Cleveland and artist Joe Shuster. Be sure to take a peak while awaiting your luggage.

Wow, just read an article about a complete change in access for customers of parking shuttles, and Uber, Lyft, private drivers. Way to make Akron Airport look even better. And I can't figure out if it effects family drop off. That airport used to be able to handle the hub traffic years ago. What happened?

CLE is the fastest airport to get in or out of. If you have TSA Precheck, you'll love the separate screening area the airport has dedicated to this! I travel about once a month and I've never spent more than 7 minutes in that queue. There are only 3 terminals at CLE: A, B and C. There are 10 air service providers: Air Canada, Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier Airlines, IcelandAir, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit and United. I spend most of my time in the B & C terminals so my review is based around those terminals and air service providers. I'd recommend the following for good eats/drinks in the B Terminal: Vino Volo (B2). I'd recommend the following for good eats/drinks in the C Terminal: Wow Bao (C7), Inca Tea (C10), and Bar Symon (C6). If you want to find out more about what the terminals offer, here's the map: Also, here's the scoop on some new restaurant developments: In the main terminal space and in the B & C terminals, you'll find lounge areas and shops. Don't expect the cushy hangout areas that most international airports have, CLE is not there (yet). But if you are looking for a place to rest your eyes, I'm sure you'll find one. If you drive to the airport, note that the airport has parking and that the rates can add up quickly. I'd recommend using one of the parking lot services that are on Snow Rd. instead, as they are cheaper and shuttle you to/from the airport. I'd give CLE 5 stars if they offered more relaxing/lounge spaces, if they increased the amount of charging stations and if they start providing more diverse food options like Wow Bao.

CLE is an easy in/out airport. Full TSA Pre is available and not just "expedited" screening that you find at some smaller airports. The Restaurant offerings are improving. New places are scheduled to start opening December 2018 thru Feb 2018. Bar Symon by Gate C3, Inca Tea, the Mushroom Melt with Avocado from Potbelly's and Bruegger's are my favorites. United curb side checkin is readily available (Brian is awesome). Delta curb side less readily available. Airports can be a headache or a pain in the a$$, but CLE is not one of them.

Cleveland Hopkins rocks!!!! So, easy to get in and out of. I was able to park my car and Walk to the terminal in about 4-5 minutes. TSA lines are short, Bathrooms are clean and they have some of the best shoe shiners around. I traveled from here on the day before Thanksgiving and wow this was easy! Don't try this at LAX. They also have some ok places to eat and the usual coffee/subway/Cinnabon places.

Being born and raised in LA and having had to undergo the chaos of what is called LAX, you must realize that my love of CLE Hopkins is probably 100 fold of the average Clevelander. It's all relative really. It may look like a small airport when you approach it but it's an international hub and since CLE has the honor of hosting the republican national convention back in 2016, it has undergone some major changes even since I Moved here 15 years ago. They do a great job maintaining the cleanliness. Have some time to spare before your flight? No worries! There's so many new places to eat and drink including a Great Lakes Brewery and Michael Symon's Bar Symon (highly recommend the Fat Pig). For those who work for some of the bigger companies in CLE (Cleveland Clinic and Progressive are the only ones I remember), there's a corporate line where you can show your badge to get checked in faster. Despite a few plane delays here and there, I've had no issues with this airport.
