My husband stopped in this morning to pick up steaks for dinner. There were three ribeyes in the case, which were wrapped for him. When he went to the register, the employee sensed there was something wrong and asked if he instead wanted three new steaks cut a bit thicker from the bone. She immediately had three new steaks cut and the butcher came out and with a smile on his face to make sure my husband like the new steaks.

I saw someone unhappy about the prices and this is how I respond. The prices are very comparable to the grocery store but the quality is beyond compare. Anything I have purchased has been absolutely outstanding and worth every penny. The burgers, the lamb and the corned beef are the best you can get. They make their own roast beef with no nitrates or sodium. I will gladly spend my money there and I highly recommend Barb and Patty's to anyone who is looking for fresh, top quality meat and homemade items.

Visited with a friend with high expectations. We shopped a bit before closing. One of the employees made it a point to mention that it was close to closing. Needless to say, we felt less than welcome. There wasn't a great selection and things were expensive. When I wanted to buy something, an employees had to be called from the back. A white gentleman came in behind us and was treated in a much more pleasant manner. I don't want to think to hard about why that was.

This place has been talked about for years and I have never gone. Won't go again. All of the things they advertise were expensive. I asked a question and was not given time to complete it before I was answered and incorrectly. In fact the two people there were just rude. They close at 1 and it was still before 1. The one person behind the counter even walked by saying ( loudly but under her breath) 15 more minutes. I can't understand first why we were ignored then treated like we were a burden rather than new customers. Too bad I really wanted to like the place.

We bought strip steaks for our New Years dinner. How disappointing. I have gotten better steaks from aldis. Will never go back again

First off I will start by saying how professional and courteous the staff and owners were during my interactions with them and that I highly recommend this business. Due to an unfortunate mix up on MY part I ended up leaving a negative review for Barb and Patty's after being burned by ironically another butcher named Barb. Long story short Barb and Patty followed the golden rule of customer service being that the customer is always right, and in this instance I was wrong. However that did not stop Barb and Patty from being willing to look into the situation, hear my side of the story and be determined to get to the bottom of it and make it right. For that I have a huge amount of respect for Barb, Patty, and their staff. In addition Barb and Patty take a lot of pride in their business and ensuring the customers are well taken care of, I believe it is important to support small businesses and can't think of a better small business to give my support to. I do sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and look forward to being able to do business with Barb and Patty in the future.

Whichever the rude one is, Barb or Patty, needs to retire! When I shop locally owned businesses, I'm hoping for, at the very least, a "friendly" customer service experience. Barb/Patty is always rude, can't be bothered to answer questions about products correctly, and is just plan mean to customers.

I specifically went there to see if they had fresh Polish Kielbasa. The woman who answered me ( think she was in charge) showed me Polish “garlic sausage”. I said that’s not Polish kielbasa. She was very short with me and replied, “ It is. It’s been made that way for 40 years “. I’ve been eating Polish kielbasa for over 50 years I know what it is. Don’t try to pass off “ garlic sausage” as kielbasa! I’ll keep going down to Cleveland to get it where they know what Polish Kielbasa is. I’ll never go back to Barb and Patty’s

Local butcher with fresh cuts of meat and fresh made brats, sausage and more. Their meats are hormone and antibiotic free. PS try the corned beef and rye smokies, they're awesome.

I went to Ray"s party/ car show last Saturday and he had bought the Brats to serve to guests. They were cooked by my brother. NEVER tasted Brats that delicious in my life. This butcher shop is getting my future buisness !!!!
