Store is clean and the staff is friendly. I was able to find everything I needed. I was just made though, to find despite going to a full-service register, I had to feed the cash into the cash slot myself. Apparently the cashiers no longer have cash drawers. I don't go to Giant Eagle often anymore because of issues such as this. I'm not sure if I'll go under any circumstances anymore if this has become the norm.

Quite possibly the nastiest Giant Eagle in the area. Expired and rotten food. Beef jerky that was so green it looked like pickles. Today, I found several 4-packs of coconut water that were expired, some over 6 months. This place is third-world, at best.
Edit: Found expired cereal yesterday, May 4, 2024 and handed it to an employee. Went back today, May 5th, and the box was just placed back on the shelf. Nasty dump of a grocery store.

Victoria in Deli is absolutely fantastic. Not only she does a great job behind the counter, but her customer service is ABOVE and BEYOND. The best service with a smile every time.

Liquor store clerk states "state law" about not accepting passport card photo ID for alcohol when I've used it at this exact same store many times before and at many other Giant Eagle stores and no one has mentioned this "law" now it's legal and accepted to be used for voting in elections I don't drive so this is frustrating

I come here all the time because they always have great deals on bread and meat. They have almost anything you need and have great cashiers. Great place for a quick errand!

The Giant Eagle had only one register open while there were several people with one or two items that had to wait forever to get checked out and the manager said he couldn't open another register so we all had to wait, this was so uncalled for and I will not shop at the Mentor Giant Eagle again! This is the one on Tyler Blvd
