Dr. Pippen is the most amazing vet! I have been going to her for over two decades! I have two rescue dogs and two cats. My one dog had a lot of problems from all the abuse he went through. Dr. Pippen went above and beyond for the 12 years I had him, heloing me figure out what meds he needed every few years. I moved to Chicago a year ago and brought my dog back to have Dr. Pippen be the one to put him to sleep. I just made a trip back this week for my other dog to get his vaccines and check on a growth. I am telling you Dr. Pippen is the most amazing person! She loves each animal as their own! She will guide you to help make the best decision and comfort you when the horribel day comes to put a pet down. Dr. Pippen is worth the 6.5 hr drive! An absolutely amazing vet and person!

I’ve had three dogs that were cared for by Dr. Pepin since she opened her practice. She has treated each of them-Parson, D’Artagnan and now Oliver- as though they were her own. When it came time to euthanize Parson and D’Artagnsn, she had so much compassion even to the point of crying with me!

Been going to TENDER LOVING CARE ANIMAL HOSPITAL since 1997. Top notch animal doctor and associates. Wife and I highly recommend this ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN MEDINA, to take care of your pets.

The most caring and kind group we have come across in some time. Differ on a few opinions, but overall top class

Dr Pepin and her staff are amazing! They squeezed me in at the end of a day on short notice before a Holiday. My sweet little guy is already feeling better. She makes recommendations and gives treatment options to get the best result for my feisty cat. Friendly team that cares about your furry family members and truly love animals.

Dr Pepin and her entire staff has always made us feel at home. They are are so welcoming and extremely compassionate. Yes, there are great vet's out there, but not like TLC. I have been with them for many years, and cannot imagine our pets being loved, cared for and made very special with another veterinarian. This is not just a business for Dr. Pepin, this is her heart and soul. Just one of the MANY reasons they are fantastic. Even our dogs wagged their tails at each visit, They were never frightened.Recently, a few months ago, I lost the best dog I've ever had. Her name was Gia, five days later we lost our older dog Cookie. While this was almost the worst thing I've ever experienced, Dr Pepin and her staff was most compassionate especially during that heart wrenching time, when I had to say goodbye to Gia and Cookie.I have had many pets in my life, and many veterinarians, but TLC has our hearts. I am so grateful to Dr Pepin, and her entire staff at TLC, especially during that difficult time.Thank you Dr. Pepin and staff with much love.

My little dear pup pup unfortunately tried eating a fishing lure she found. I called over 10 vets trying to find anyone that could help immediately. They called me back within 5-minutes and said they while they were already booked for the day, that they really wanted to help us. So they shifted one appointment and took us in as an emergency. They are now our official vet office going forward. The price was cheaper than I thought it would be even with sedation. So happy over all and appreciate them so much for helping us today. Our little pup pup is much better and lure free!

My whole family brings all of our furry friends to Dr. Pepin. We love that Dr. Pepin takes time with out furry friends to go through very detailed with our exams. Penelope especially was on a certain food that was very expensive and Dr. Pepin gave us a list of food try. As a client you can tell how compassionate Dr. Pepin is. On Wednesday September 20,2023 for reverse sneezing and constantly sneezing and Dr. Pepin is willing to start a case to figure out a good path. Dr. Pepin is also willing to give a dental estimate to me as well.

Dr. Pepin genuinely cares and listens whenever she sees my dogs. She likes to get to the root of problems and treat them instead of just prescribing medicine. She explains everything and gives the best advice she can give. Sometimes the appointments are longer than expected but it is WORTH it!! I highly recommend coming here, as long as a quick in and out visit is NOT what you’re looking for.

The compassion is real. The kindness is real. Dr. Janine Pepin and her staff have been caring for our critters for 17 years, and the trust we have in her is absolute. There is NO ONE I'd rather have looking after our beloved pets. She takes time to explain what's happening, what can or can't be done, and what to expect. We're lucky to have her in Medina.

Dr. Peppin has been our family's veterinarian for nearly 15 years, and for good reason. We have witnessed her face challenges both personal and professional, including the pandemic and the resulting staffing issues that persist. She's persevered and continued to do her best in the face of an increasingly frazzled and less-than-forgiving public. She is personable, empathetic, and treats us like family. If you're expecting a quick in-and-out, don't; Dr. Peppin spends the time to get to know both you and your pet, and exceedingly chatty clients (like myself) can make that take extra time (as can grumpy pets, also like mine). She well understands that pets are a part of the family, and she truly values their life and well-being. She herself has an extended furry family, all with special health needs -- because she is someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them with the care and respect they deserve, and can not turn a blind eye to their needs.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Head every warning others have left. This place only cares about MONEY. My 11 year old dog was a new patient of theirs this year. They insisted on her getting teeth removed (teeth that another vet also agreed should be removed or they would fall out on their own). We finally gave in and scheduled the procedure to get them removed. First red flag, they would not provide an estimate for the procedure. They said it “could be $600 or more once they take a look” they wanted us to give them our “cap” of what they could charge. We didn’t want to give them a cap for fear they would use the full extent regardless of if the work required it. An hour and some change into the procedure, ding ding, they make a call “dog is doing fine but we need you to approve more money as we are only half way through and haven’t even started on the other side of her mouth” okay fine, we figured as much would happen, give them the go ahead to up the cap from $900 to $1200. AN HOUR LATER, these people call me and Dr. Pepin in the most matter of fact tone says “I’m sorry but your dog went into cardiac arrest and I could not revive her” I’m shocked- you just said she was fine an hour ago when you wanted more money??? “These things happen” I say “are you joking?” More so to her tone and the way she is speaking to me and she said again “your dog is dead”. Figures, right after we approve you more money to continue- now the dog is dead. By the way HER NAME WAS LUNA. They had our 11 year old Luna under for THREE hours when she died. I refuse to believe any vet worth their degree would think keeping an elderly dog under anesthesia that long was “safe”. I probed them about this and I was riddled with comments on how “prepared” they are in case something like this happens. Clearly not prepared enough considering she was fine one hour and the next she was dead. I firmly believe there is potential malpractice here. After reading other comments from other patients who experienced similar issues when their pets went under, and not to mention the LACK of compassion this place has- I refuse to believe this was a normal procedure that unfortunately turned south. Something isn’t right and I strongly warn EVERYONE to stay the heck away from this place.
