When my whippet got but most vets had a minim week long waiting period. They got me in on their next business day which was beyond amazing of them.
Then, when I can in for routine boosters they fit us in for an exam visit because one of my dogs was acting incredibly weird. I didn’t ask, I even offered to come back another day/time but they looked at home right then and there.
They have been beyond nice and have shown nothing but care. I’m incredibly happy to be taking my pups here

Her office was the only one out of DOZENS I called (even my regular vet) that was able to get me in the same day for an urgent appointment for my dog. Throughout the entire visit, she explained everything she was doing/noticing, explained what tests or procedures she recommended, why she recommended them in the order she did, why they were important, what the results would tell us, and how much it would cost. She delivered some difficult news with grace and kindness, while being direct enough to make sure I was prepared for what's likely to follow. She made sure I was well-informed and had a clear understanding of everything, but despite being so thorough in her explanations, she never came across as indifferent or 'clinical'. Quite the opposite, in fact.
She utilized a level of communication that made me feel at ease, and a depth of compassion and warmth that provided invaluable comfort to both my dog and myself during a really scary, emotionally difficult time. It's absolutely evident that her role as a veterinarian is one that's close to her heart. It really MEANS something to her to do what she does, and to do it so well. And it's apparent that the staff she employs hold those same values as deeply as she does.
I truly believe that some people are just... destined to do or be certain things in this world. And from only one appointment at her practice, it's clear to me that Dr. Janine was a vet LONG before she ever even applied to veterinary school. She has always been a veterinarian because that's just who she IS. This is not simply a job for her, it is a CALLING. And the care that she devotes to her clients (both human and animal!) reflects that. In spades.
Though I wish I had met her under less dire or painful circumstances, I'm grateful that I met her at all. And while my regular vet's office is wonderful and provides exemplary care, Dr. Pepin's practice is absolutely, unequivocally the right fit for me and my beloved pets. I'll be switching my bigger babies (Great Danes!) over to your care when they're due for their next round of vaccines. With any luck, it won't need to be any sooner than that. I hope you're not planning to retire any time soon, Dr. Janine! It would be a great loss to the pet parents of this community.

686 Medina Rd, MedinaI was pleasantly surprised at the attention and care that came from this facility. Kudos to their willingness to squeeze us in for an urgent issue with our dog. Their process of dropping off our pet to a later meeting to go over all that was found was superior to all my experiences since we are all so busy, this made it most convenient. Dr. Hicks explained everything in detail and answered all our questions very compassionately and completely. I'm switching from a vet 2 minutes away because I didn't just feel like a number here.

I was EXTREMELY cautious about who I wanted to train my dog Bandit (German Shepherd) who is 2 years old. We were told by our Veterinarian that Bandit has severe anxiety, fear and can be aggressive. I knew I would rather not work with a negative reinforcement training company. The training at Medina Dog Wizard is not negative at all in my experience. Steve and Aurelia began with them teaching Bandit boundaries that we could utilize at home. They also send guides to read to assist you at home after the training. Medina Dog Wizard also establishes rules and commands to help establish a good relationship with your dog.
I was able, with the trainer's help, to figure out what works best for handling Bandit. I tried another dog trainer in the county, paying a lot of money. That company told me to get a harness, but my dog pulled severely, and my wife had very little control of him on our walks.
We dropped off Bandit for two weeks at Medina Dog Wizard, they worked with him. Through working with Steve, the owner and trainer, we've learned that he reacts *extremely well* to wearing a prong collar, and slip leash and makes things much safer for the dog, my family and me. We also established commands for Bandit like lay down, place, heel, free, and kennel.
They help you figure out what works best for your dog and you! That being said, I can't say enough outstanding things about Steve and Aurella at the Medina Dog Wizard. From talking to them on the phone and at the consultation, I immediately felt like they understood why Bandit was behaving the way he was. Even when training is complete, you go to Saturday's walks. During the walk, you have interactions with other dogs and have mini training where the trainer’s assists you.
Medina Dog Wizard goes above and beyond just the lessons. I have reached out to Medina Dog Wizard when Bandit was anxious when I was going to the store or putting him in his cage at night. Steve had some great tips that made it easier for us to handle these situations with my dog. They also offer boarding for the day if you go on vacation. I am so appreciative and thankful that I found Medina Dog Wizard. This is the best investment I have made in my dog (Bandit's) training.

Michelle has taken such good care of ALL my cats since. She’s always available to look after my pets whether it be a planned visit or a spur of the moment emergency; she’s always been there! So appreciative of that as well as her reasonable cost. I wouldn’t consider any other pet sitter to look after my furry little kids!

My only complaint is non quality ingredients, oat milk is the aldi brand and the tea for my boyfriends London fog was great value branded (the walmart generic brand) if you're upcharging for milk alternatives it should at least be quality.

Medina County Animal Shelter
6334 Deerview Ln, MedinaWe have adopted three dogs from here over the years. Two were senior dogs that we wanted to feel loved and be able to roam a large yard in their final years. The other is a hyper little bird dog that has become such a great member of the family. The staff has always been very nice and helpful.
