The basic car wash is advertised on the big screen before check out as $10 when you go to pay it’s $12. They said they recently changed prices, but it shouldn’t be advertised as $10 then. Car wash didn’t get my car clean brown streak marks all over from dirty water. Also they don’t accept cash and the attendant wasn’t sure if the 20% off military was just for memberships or single washes so I wasn’t able to use it on my wash.

My fiancé paid for her monthly wash and they ended up charging her another monthly fee… then come to find out the drive through wash was broken. So she paid for a service and never received anything or a refund. The manager claims they couldn’t do anything because they weren’t on site but was the manager on duty. Then there was an attitude about why someone pays for a wash when the monthly subscription was already taken out. Not only are we canceling her membership but want a full refund because this managers attitude was piss poor. The manager has the audacity to tell someone to come back in the morning in order receive the refund. This wash station is located on 4140 Pearl Rd, Medina, OH 44256. Managers name is Amber.

This was my first visit to this ModWash location. The wash itself was great, with no wait. However, none of the air blowers in the vacuum area were working, which is frustrating in colder months when they help remove excess water. There were no towels or glass cleaner available—the first location I’ve seen without them. Some mat holders were also broken. I don’t visit Medina often, but I won’t be returning here anytime soon.

Absolutely horrible. The last few times I’ve went there were no clean towels. My car has not been cleaned properly. Every time I leave it is still filled with dirt. The safety of the ground in the winter is horrible. It is filled with ice very unsafe to walk in let alone drive.
The quality of that car wash has severely decreased. What’s the point of paying for something that you don’t get your moneys worth out of?
And why should I have to go back through if your machines don’t work properly For all cars?

1/18/25. For all who are wondering what the fluids or grime is on your vehicles it is hydronic fluid. It can cause an oily mess on vehicles if not maintained properly. Modwash has had serveral of these at the Medina location. If you think this company cares that your vehicle was hit with this fluid you are DEAD wrong. Modwash will never comment back to me, because it is TRUE. This company is a complete joke and the people of Medina should know the truth. STOP supporting ripoff companies and stay local. I get the other car washes that are touch based in Medina get busy, but its local that will help you the most, not a corporate giant like Modwash.
12/24So I have a REAL question. If you have had your last nine or ten reviews all be one star how do you keep your 4.8 going. I know there are issues with the Medina location. I hear it everywhere around town. So I ask again what are you doing in Google that you hold on to 4.8 where anyone else would have lost that average by now. How bout man up as a company and actually take care of people vs ripping them off. Folks do yourself a favor and go to Buckeye or Sgt Clean. They at least have customer service teams are willing to help.

Update- 1-2-25
This place went downhill fast. For the last 4-5 months the second row of rollers have not worked ( very rarely do they) lots of hoses broken and just spewing water not soap and water on places they used to. All broken before it was cold, so no frozen/busted line not an excuses. Car comes out ok at best as far as clean goes. But nowhere what it used to be. Not renewing my sub with them. I’ll come back but the last two-three month of reviews have all been one stars. Kinda tells you something. Workers are super nice though.

Been trying to cancel my membership through email since the 31st of December. Multiple follow ups not responses.
Tried calling, they just simply do not answer.
Canceled three days ago on their website but have nothing from them saying it’s done and canceled, just an email saying they got my cancelation request. Simply put stay away from this place. They obviously don’t care about you on the corporate side of things.
1-13-25.
No response to email cancelation or repeated emails or phone calls. Guess what. Been asking for a couple weeks to cancel. They charged me today. Stay FAR away from this place. It’s shady, I can almost guarantee I get a response from them in a couple days saying “ sorry for your cancelation you won’t have any further charges from here on out” .You ask them to cancel and they ignore you to get another $30 in their pocket.

my husband and I tried going through mod wash in medina earlier today and they were shut down. As we ate our breakfast, I wanted to called to find out if they would be open at any point today and when I called, there is only three options and none of them take you to a real person. I just wanted to ask somebody if they would be open at any point today and not being able to do that is very frustrating.
The service at the location is wonderful when we visit for a wash. There is no problem with the service we get during a car wash.
Not being able to physically speak to someone when I have a question or concern turns me off to a business. Communication is so important with a physical person rather than an automated system.

Now that I got my car “cleaned” I can barely see out the windows and had to use paper towels to wipe off the god-knows-what off my windows so I could at least look out the window so I can drive away from this embarrassing excuse of an establishment.
I understand it’s not going to be perfect, but this is on a whole other level. How do you wash a car and make it dirtier? That’s some sort of sick talent. The only thing that was polished was the complete failure of their service. I paid good money for this trash, and now I have to go somewhere else to clean up their mess. DO NOT waste your time or money on ModWash! This place is a joke, and I’m furious I fell for it.
They took my car, treated it like it was a piece of trash, and returned it looking like it had been kidnapped by a gang of idiots, taken on a cross-country road trip through a dust storm, and then dumped into a vat of paint. They left a thick, white, GROSS FILM all over the car—on the windows, the paint, the wheels—like they were trying to build a new layer of grime just for me to clean up. The film was SO thick it looked like I could write my name in it. They didn’t wash my car—they destroyed it. If I wanted to get my car dirty, I would’ve done it myself.
I paid these idiots for a car wash. Instead, I got a complete dumpster fire of an experience that made me question every life choice that led me to that hellhole. This place is a joke, and they owe me my money back. ModWash is the kind of disaster that could ruin your entire week, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re secretly in the business of sending people home with extra stress and a ruined car. DO NOT ever—under any circumstances—go here unless you want your car turned into a disgusting, unusable piece of crap. I am LIVID.
