RUN AWAY! THIS IS THE WORST VET I HAVE EVER TAKEN MY PET THEY SIMPLY CAN CARE LESS IT'S ALL ABOUT MOVING THEM IN AND OUT AND CASHING IN, THE VET DIDN'T EVEN SPEND 2 MINUTES WITH MY PET BUT WAS REALLY GOOD ABOUT CHARGING OVER 200 FOR THE VISIT THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT FOR THEIR QUESTIONABLE PRACTICES

Where do I even begin. This place has gone so far downhill after Dr Parker leaving. I have a 13.5 year old dog with Cushing's and arthritis. He had amazing treatment from Dr Parker. He is treated for both with monthly meds that I need to call for every month. Every month it's 2-3 days of calls 3 times a day. The staff at Drug Mart Even joke about it when they see me monthly. On Tuesday I called. On Wednesday I called. After getting the typical, "we'll call in 24-48 hrs" I told her I was very frustrated and this is a recurring issue. My dog needs his meds. She responded, "I don't know what to tell you". I said, "well I guess that means my dog goes without his pills since he's overdue". Called the next day and they cancelled the script. When I talked to the manager, she said it was expired and they would not fill it. Had to bring my dog in the next day for a blood test in order to make sure he has his basic meds. $500 bill and they had him for an hour!!!! I told the manager that it was ridiculous. My dog was just there in December! Apparently, they have some blood test results in the system from December but not that he was checked?! They agreed to not send one of the panels, but still charged me $400. I got into a yelling match on the phone with the manager who told me I was "literally so misinformed" when I told her the place is going downhill without Dr Parker. They misdiagnosed his torn ACL, they habitually close early so I can't pick up my dogs meds, and they habitually cannot fill a med request on the first, second, or third call.
Funny how the script was not an issue until I complained and it costs over $400 to get my dog back...

Not very welcoming, I’ve had 2 vet appointments and both felt rushed and just not pleasant. Never gave me the opportunity to let me ask questions and when I was able to, they didn’t answer them very well.

I was very disappointed to see how much prices have gone in the last few months. My dog had an anal gland secretion done. It went up $14 in three months I can’t afford to go to them any longer.

The entire staff was fantastic and looked after our little guy. They were gentle and heard all of our concerns and addressed them accordingly.

We have been using this company since 2011. The new owners have been just wonderful in caring for our furry daughter. They are providing excellent care for Embers who is now just over 10 years old. I think the world of them and will continue to recommend them to other pet owners.

Had a terrible experience at this clinic in October 2023. I brought my 11 year old dog in because she was having bladder leakage and was in severe pain, just couldn't identify where, but I was suspecting her hind end since I was noticing lack of coordination there. The vet (not even sure of her name since I was a surprised Dr Parker was no longer there) barely evaluated her and said she must have a back/neck injury. Did not suggest testing her urine or blood work at all. She sent her home on Carprofen. Well about a week later we ended up at the North Ridgeville emergency vet since she was declining rapidly. Turns out she was in kidney failure and the Carprofen was causing even more pain and suffering for her since it should never be given to a dog with kidney issues. Horrible vet, caused pain and suffering for my dog and I will never return to this clinic. I was a customer of Dr Parker for 15+ years and miss her terribly. This new management and team are no where near the same level as she was.

They were super friendly and treated my cats with care. Even sent us home with a med for my oldest cat to take because she was too grumpy for her physical. A++

I wish I had read the most recent reviews as they are the most truth-telling. All of the positive reviews are from when Dr. Parker was still there but they skew the average. I needed to update my dog's shots and have the vet complete a form, as after over 20 hours of training, we passed the therapy dog evaluation. However, multiple staff took my dog out of the room, held him down for a blood draw. He whined, tried to get away, and after 30-45 seconds of communicating to them he did not like what was happening, he eventually growled. The vet told me she felt it was the same as a child hugging the animal (which has happened by both children at sports practices and toddlers who have harassed him off leash and he has been patient and calm). The groomer has also never had any issues and adores him. When I made this case she said you can't control children (I guess trying to state that a child may pin him down and stick him with a needle for near a minute?) I walked out so frustrated. My sister also had a poor experience days ago here as they were pushing for medical tests when there was very logical explanations for weight gain. This may be the first poor review I've ever left, it's not my style, however having two poor experiences within days (me and my sisters dog) and seeing the other reviews caused me to want to affirm them and hoping to save someone else some time and irritation.
