Run don't walk away from this place! Unsafe practices, being aggressive toward the dogs, and requiring students to leave a positive review in order to pass.

I attended this school in January 2024 and had a very negative experience for a multitude of reasons. I would not recommend this program to other aspiring groomers but am afraid to go into further detail due to the instructor repeatedly mentioning the fact that she has a lawyer as a fear tactic. I felt pressured to give a good school rating in order to pass the class. Now that I have graduated I wanted to give my real review. I wish I would have started my education elsewhere.

Nancy and Doug have been wonderful with helping me learn all the stuff I need to know about grooming. They have made me become more confident in what I do in such a short amount of time.They are both extremely patient and so helpful when learning new things. I couldn’t have been more impressed with this whole experience. I can’t wait to see where things go thanks to them

Hello, tomorrow will be my last day at diamond cut dog grooming school waiting to graduate. Nancy has been the best teacher, she has been patient with me, she has taught me many things to start my business and about dog haircuts. I will miss being in your classes to hear your good stories and your Grooming experiences. I would recommend these classes whenever you want to learn and listen to what she tells you because she is a good teacher. Nancy is the one who has experience with her for more than 40 years, it was a pleasure for me to learn from her.

Diamond Cut is a unique school. I like the fact that you get to have actual hands on experience with grooming actual customers’ dogs, when you attend/ enroll at Diamond Cut you get to experience what it would be like to work in a shop. I like the fact that Nancy is always honest and truthful when it comes to grooming, she doesn’t sugarcoat. I will take everything I have at Diamond Cut all the different techniques and apply it to a job that I get. If I ever need help in the future with the dog, I will come to Nancy for advice because she is the best teacher you can get, and also a lifelong friend

My experience at Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School has been very well rounded. Nancy is a Master Groomer and very knowledgeable about grooming. She is a great teacher with an eye for detail and perfection. She has also told us several times that she is available for us for questions, issues or suggestions even after we graduate. She will be a great resource for the long term, which is fabulous and unheard of in other grooming schools! Doug’s Blade class was very informative and he is a patient, calm, hands-on expert with all grooming tools. It is without question that he is very mechanically inclined and helpful as well. Tracy is a former student at Diamond Cut and she is very peppy, knowledgeable and does not hesitate to help!I believe that the success of Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School is because of Nancy’s great team and their knowledge and dedication to the grooming field in general. Nancy is a Master Groomer that brings forty years of experience to her class room and this kind of hands-on teaching that she provides cannot be duplicated in an online teaching format that other schools offer. I attended Diamond Cut Grooming School and was able to learn the proper techniques, tools and helpful resources for grooming dogs.I was given support during and after my training that has enabled me to provide a much needed service in my community. I would attend and recommend this school to others! I'm very thankful for the experience and knowledge of Doug and Nancy.

Diamond Cut Dog Grooming is an awesome place to learn to be a groomer. Nancy has amazing energy, a ton of knowledge, over 40 years experience, she's patient and she's devoted to her students and to every dog she comes in contact with. In two weeks I became a confident and knowledgeable dog groomer, and that's because of her amazing talent, skill, and the one on one she does with each student. She makes learning fun while building your confidence. Nancy and Doug are two sweet souls who you quickly become friends with. I made incredible friends that I will be in contact with for many years to come. So, if you're looking for a dog grooming school, this is the place you should be at. As a student, I’m so glad I chose Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School. Nancy and Doug have shared their many years of real life experience, along with hands-on training that you can’t find in any textbook. It is priceless. You get to experience what it’s like to work in a shop and you can leave with all the tools needed to start working for someone or create your own business.

Nancy is a great teacher! We were grooming dogs on the second day! She gave a great explanation of the tools we would be using and how to take care of the dogs. She was walking around, helping whenever we asked for it. I really feel confident starting my own shop!

Priceless learning experience for new groomers! The hands on training builds confidence from day start. Students work on all different breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs. Nancy's goal is for every student to geaduate with full confidence and traing to begin a business the next day. This is a great choice for anyone seeking dog grooming training whether it be for personal enhancement or carreer direction. This school has made an immeasurably valued change in my carreer!

I just completed my two weeks here with Nancy & Doug and I am so glad I enrolled. Nancy & Doug work well as a team and shared their lifetime of experience with us. I felt there was a good balance of book work & hands on to learn from. Nancy is so patient and kind, i felt comfortable asking any and all questions I had. On top of all things serious, we had a really great time in class every day too!

Doug and Nancy are a team who devotes lots of time and energy into teaching you hands on and you better believe they’re top dogs in the grooming industry! In the short two weeks here I feel so full of knowledge about grooming I am confident to say I know how to groom dogs! Nancy was the sweetest soul I’ve ever met, she creates bonds and makes you feel comfortable and at ease at Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School.
