“The store had some nice updates and quite a bit of new style items for your home and more food. The make up isle was small and hard to get into the corner with work carts in the way. Otherwise very nice if you don't feel like going all the way to Zanesville to go to Walmart!??”

“Small town friendly Krogers.Wait... that doesn't sound right at ALL. It's true though. Blink & you'll miss this Krogers in the quaint riverside town of McConnelsville, Ohio. I was honestly a bit surprised, as Krogers in my mind equates to massively large big-box store filled to the brim with every known grocery item, yet this small old school building still manages to house the bare necessities a small town might need.They pack everything from floor to ceiling and use every knook and cranny for display space. They do have most all of the typical depts of their larger box-store, but just very condensed. I was surprised to see a handful of vegan items, organic items & even an ethnic section? Woah, where am I? Why hasn't Krogers done this to other small obsolete vacant storefronts around Ohio? Anyways, we came, we saw... we bought some goods. The service here was awesome, courteous and small-town nice. Everyone knew everyone and the cashiers and baggers reminded me of the olden days of small Mom & Pop markets. But yes, be careful, as with small real estate, comes shopping cart hazards of vary narrow aisle ways. Avoid cart collisions by taking your time, or maybe forgoing the cart all together if you can hold everything in a basket.”
